Copilot Broadcast? If so, I know someone selling one. It’s an LFO generator that plugs into anything that has a jack for an expression pedal so can sweep volume, filter cutoff or whatever else you fancy. Obviously needs pairing with something but goes with lots of different stuff, has a few different waveforms, tap tempo and a pretty wide speed range.

I’m on iOS. Seems to have reverted. Not sure what happened there.

Has the site had a makeover? The font seems to have suddenly changed from one minute to the next. It’s messing with my brain.

Indeed it is. If I didn’t have the Octo Nøjs I’d definitely keep it. This definitely has more variation in it but at present I’m trying to get to a point where I do less knob twiddling and more music making so I’ll stick to my other fuzz pedals that I can dial in quickly (as I’ve already spent time with them). This will still be available until about 10.30am when I’ll be taking it to the post office. If anyone here wants it then please get in touch before then. -
Just received this dynamic bass fuzz/distortion and it’s great but I can get very similar sounds from the dynamic fuzz side of my Octo Nøjs so I won’t be keeping it. I thought I’d offer it here briefly (at £5 less than I paid for it) to see if anyone is looking for one. If not I’ll return it to the shop tomorrow. Price includes recorded UK delivery and I will post tomorrow.

Finally managed to score one of these last week! It’s brilliant and the knobs are so much better than on the SE-02.

Recently sold Rich my Aftershock. Clear communication and prompt payment. Many thanks.

I recently bought an EHX Bass Micro Synth from Leighton. It arrived in the condition described. Thanks, I love it!

As far as I understood it the filter was post-square-wave-generation. i.e. it’s simply a lowpass filter applied to the square wave output signal. Tracking the same pitch on different strings is due to the different overtones present on the different strings. A B on the A string has more overtones than the same B played higher up on the E string. The closer you are to the middle of the string, the closer you get to pure fundamental. Try plucking halfway between the bridge and the fretted note to hear the difference.
-
I wonder if this is more to do with the overtone frequencies present. The glitchier pedals happen to be the ones which have stronger mid presence. (Doesn’t the T-16 sound glitchier when its filter is open? It did for me.) When the sub octave signal has the low pass filter applied it’s much less noticeable when it drops out when mistracking.
-
That’s my feeling too. At the very least it’s a great way to try out a bunch of different filters to see which ones one likes. Also a great way to get into the nuts and bolts of how various parameters (cutoff, resonance, envelope amount, etc.) affect the sound. I’d love to keep it but for the sake of my bank balance and decluttering my brain I feel I should move it on.

Are you running it off the front pickup only? If not, try that. Below low A will sound muddy. I’d probably only play down there with the BOD if playing mostly clean signal with a small amount of sub rolled in to beef it up. Playing the soloed sub voice down that low isn’t terribly musical-sounding.
-
What bass are you using? My BOD tracks to low F on P and J basses and am using rounds and flats.
-
Well, given its size, I’m sure that won’t pose a problem.

This is an incredibly versatile pedal which has 24 different filter models (low pass 2/4 pole, band pass, multi-peak, phasers etc). These can be controlled by your bass’s envelope signal, by an LFO or by a mixture of the two. There are also 6 different drives (including gated fuzz and octave fuzz) which can be used in conjunction with your choice of filter. You can store 2 presets on the pedal but if you hook it up to the Neuro Hub you can save 128 “scenes” across 5 different pedals! There is quick access to all the important parameters (cutoff frequency, resonance, speed, filter effect depth, etc). This is fantastic way into getting synth sounds from your bass. Use it with an octaver and there’s all manner of goodness to be had. It also does “regular” wah and phasing, etc. It is in excellent condition and comes boxed with the UK power supply. 2nd Class recorded (UK) delivery is included in the price. I can post the same day if sale is confirmed by 8.30am of that day as I can take it with me to work and post from there.
