1. Still available. All PMs replied to. (Sorry, having connection issues, should be sorted by end of Wednesday.)
2.
Oddly enough there is nothing in it between the cherryburst Sterling (sans mutes) and the darker burst Sterling with mutes, I am simply keeping the muted one because of the two it may be worth something in the future!
Shame, I really wanted to get that one when it came up for sale last time but was totally broke. I've played a Sterling for a few years now but really wish mine had the mutes. If you change your mind....
3. Or you could sell me your honeyburst Sterling with the mutes. :-)
4. I'm pretty sure this used to be yours (I emailed you with some questions the first time you listed it as I had only just become aware of them). I bought it from Bassbod (Duncan).
5. Photos, as promised. As you can see, it comes in the original case. Price dropped to same as other listed here (not interested in a profit, just want to buy the oly white one and not be out of pocket).
6. It really is a beaut. I wouldn't even be considering letting it go if it weren't for the chance of getting one with a rosewood board. (Won't be too disappointed if no-one bites on it). Hope you are well, Duncan! (Managed to pick up a gk microbass finally, thanks again for the advice.)
7. Have listed mine now and will have this off you if mine sells.
8. Sadowsky HPJ in natural ash with maple board and original case. In fantastic condition. Only for sale as I'd like to buy the olympic white/rosewood one that is currently for sale on this forum and can't afford to buy it without selling this first. This will only be available for as long as the other remains unpurchased. I'll list mine for the same price (£1100). Weight is approximately 4.25 kg VTC as standard. Bass in Sheffield and would prefer collection but I could deliver by hand depending on location (London, Bristol and Newcastle/Darlington vicinities definitely, ask about other places).
9. Sorry to the original poster if this comes across as a thread hijack, but I thought it might make a sale easier... I'd really like to own this. I have one of these in natural ash with a maple board (it was the first HPJ that came up for sale when I had enough money) and really like it but I prefer rosewood boards. If anyone out there fancied swapping the bass offered for sale in this thread for mine I'd be happy to do that. (I'd buy it outright and list mine for sale but can't really take the risk in having the extra cash tied up indefinitely).
10.
hmmm..not sure.... I really like the neck on my P-bass.. Anyway the whole idea came from Tim Commerford http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Commerford
You're the person I need to team up with at some point in the future; I always wanted a standard P but with a J neck!
11.
Quatsmacher, Nut width is 41mm. It's quite a slim neck for P which is what attracted me to it in the first place, but then I never played it! Doh!
Thanks, too wide for me, I'm afraid. This is the same as on the 70RI I had. Jazz width nuts only for me from now on! Best of luck with the sale.
12. What is the nut width on this one?
13. What's the neck width at the nut on this?
14. Found a cheaper flute so didn't have to sell after all, but should probably move this on to a real keyboard player.
15. Beautiful. If this had a SLO special neck I'd have had in in a heartbeat.
16. Had I not bought one of these in natural last month I'd have been seriously interested in this. Beautiful.
17. How on earth has this not been sold yet?! Used to play one of these, cracking bass for the money.
18. Shame it's sunburst otherwise I may have been tempted.
19. If it's the Stingray's sound you like then I'd get that with a SLO neck, though the Sterling sounds pretty similar when the pickup selector is set to parallel. I've played a Sterling for the last few years and love it (I really wanted a 'Ray but the neck was too wide (I learned to play on a Jazz) and the SLO special hadn't been invented). The other difference is that the string spacing at the bridge of the Sterling is 1/16" narrower than on a 'Ray. Sadowsky string spacing is 19mm (3/4") which is the same as on a 'Ray. Not sure what it is on your Deluxe Jazz.
20. Try a Stingray with the SLO Special neck option (1.5" instead of 1.625") if you like the narrow neck of a Jazz, it's the best of both worlds.
