  1. Just fired up my new Mercury and managed to finally get an answer as to whether the “delay” knob controls the centre frequency of a phaser patch - it does! So ironically Mercury is the best pedal for my use to create phaser patches as I like adjusting the centre frequency but rarely mess with the LFO shape. However, there seems to be a bug as the hardware knob only allows half of the range of the editor knob. I’ve reported it.
  2. Seems to be an error with the download showing as “insecure”. I’ve reported it.
  3. Windows editor v4.12 is up which fixes the MIDI tab refresh bug that was present in v4.11.
  4. @AndyTheBassBison has a wanted ad for one.
  5. Thanks, I actually used to own this and sold it to Lukasz a few months ago. It’s a really nice jazz bass but I’m 100% in the Precision camp now. Did I still have a wanted ad up? Must amend that if so.
  6. It’s gone so the temporary price reduction is now no longer in force.
  7. It is indeed fantastic. The MKII comes closest to it when the tone knob is fully anti-clockwise and the TIM switch is on, but still differs; the Mini is cleaner. Mini also retains fatness even when the tone is fully open. (Ironically I’d like the MKII for the really thin buzzy sound one gets when TIM switch is off and tone is fully open for synth lead type stuff when combined with a filter.)
  8. Reviving this to say I’ve now managed to compare the Octabvre MKII, Mini and MKIII and I much prefer the first two. The MKIII is quite different and I’m really not keen on it. I own the Mini at the moment but would dearly love to get the MKII again. (Really wish I hadn’t sold mine when chasing the latest shiny new thing.) Also finally got an OC-2 and get it now.
  9. For anyone unsure what this does, it allows you to connect up to 5 Source Audio pedals so that current settings across all connected can be saved via a single button press and instantly recalled via MIDI. It also allows expression input. It’s a very clever system and works with all their Soundblox, Soundblox 2 and One Series pedals. It’s essential if you want to store more than the 6 presets available on the earlier One Series pedals. In excellent condition. Boxed with its original non-UK power supply. (I ran it off my Zuma.) However, if you need a UK supply, I’m happy to swap it for one as I have a few and don’t use them much. Also comes with the standard 3 TRRS cables. (I may be able to rustle up 2 more if needed, but will need to check how many I still have; if not SA will usually give you them for free if you ask them). This is exactly the same as the Neuro Hub internally and functionally; just a different colour enclosure. (Can be used with non-SA devices too: I used to use this to send expression messages to my Future Impact before I got into bigger MIDI controllers.) Price includes free signed-for UK postage.
  10. That’s the behaviour I’d expect. What I’m trying to ascertain is whether in a phaser patch the “delay” parameter is indeed controlling the centre frequency of the phaser’s notch filter. (As said, in the previous Neuro, the “delay” parameter was actually labelled “delay/frequency”. the way to test would be this: Load the phaser patch; Turn the “depth” knob to zero; Move the “delay” knob back and forth on the pedal and listen for any movement of the phaser.
  11. That sounds like a bug then. The “depth” knob in the pedal should only respond to the “depth” knob on the pedal. The “delay” knob on the pedal should control “delay” in the editor, and on phaser patches this should actually be the centre frequency of the filter. In the old editor it is labelled as “delay/frequency”. Another way to check would be to load a phaser patch onto the pedal and turn the “delay” knob to see if it indeed does change the centre frequency.
  12. Definitely get hooked up to the editor. There are loads more sounds I shared in the cloud. Try patch 86 for a classic MM-type bass sound. You can double-click and hold to quickly scroll down patches. Or click and turn the encoder to scroll through banks, then you’re only a few presses away from whatever preset you want, and can do that using up only. Or hook up a MIDI controller or Panda’s 4Control with a couple of footswitches. Glad you find the manual well-written; I’ve put many hundreds of hours into that since 2019, refining it each time.
  13. Are there any trades you’re interested in or is it sale only?
  14. @iamtheelvy has a wanted ad for the phaser.
  15. A fairly recent acquisition. Sounds really lovely - far superior to the current MKIII. I’d just really like to get a MKII again and so am listing this to see if I can somehow persuade the universe to turn one up for me. Price includes next-day UK Special Delivery. In great condition with some marks on the base as shown in the photo (this was a B-stock from 3Leaf). Comes with original box.
  16. New firmware, editor and factory soundset is now available! https://www.pandamidi.com/support
  17. I do do a lot of unpaid work for them so this is my recompense. I could lend you my backup Artifakt for a bit but you’ll be about 6th in line. It’s currently with @dodge_bass who’s sending it to @andybassdoyle today hopefully. When he’s had a good amount of time with it , there are a three other people I’ve promised it to. Happy to send it to you thereafter but it’ll likely be towards the end of the year.
  18. It’s OK, I’ve asked them to send me one. 😄
  19. Temporary reduction to £1999 only while something else I have my eye on is available.
  20. Seems the only way to get an answer to this is to get one myself and check.
  21. This looks very interesting. I’m going to check out some videos on it.
