  1. A quick question: how would you feel if the note-on/off parameter were made into a per-preset one?
  2. My Shuker is 21.5mm at the 1st fret and my other (and now only) Am Pro II feels thinner. One day I’ll buy some callipers.
  3. Haven’t tried them side by side but I didn’t think the nano was as good as my memory of the big box one. It had been about 4 years since I’d had the latter though. EDIT - sorry, you said the mini big box, not the big big box. I had the big one.
  4. Wishing I hadn’t sold mine for a song.
  5. Wise words. Had exactly that happen with my first octaver (Cog T-16). Not so with my first filter though which was the rather anemic Boss AW-3.
  6. Got Jon Shuker to measure one of my Am Pro IIs when I was putting a build order together and it was 19mm but am not sure if that was at the nut or at the 1st fret now. It was 26mm at the 12th. Haven’t measured the other.
  7. Would love to try this but am trying hard not to acquire more gear.
  8. These are great. I recently uploaded a Phase 90 patch that I spent a lot of time matching with the real thing and it’s very, very close. And that’s just one preset of many.
  9. This looks pretty interesting: https://crazytubecircuits.com/sidekick-jr
  10. Have a read through the manual I wrote. Should be linked on the second post on the first page. Edit - actually I needed to update it to link to the latest versions. All done now.
  11. Remember randomly hearing that on mtv back in the 90s, such a great groove.
  12. This is an absolutely wonderful synth, I have just come to the realisation that I’m not going to use much of what it does. I’m content with the simplicity of the Minimoog for most of my monosynth needs. In pristine and fully working condition, only been used sparingly at home. Comes with all original packing materials and paraphernalia. I’m the original owner and can provide the receipt for the buyer. It’s the more expensive Special Edition with the flip-up panel and walnut end cheeks. This is collection only, I’m afraid. Will give you chance to verify it is in the condition described.
  13. This thing stacks up incredibly favourably against the real thing. Check out the audio comparison I made. In excellent and fully working condition. Running the latest firmware. Postage to be added (£16.95). Collection from Sheffield welcome. I could bring it to the Bristol/Bath area on the train when I’m next down. (I would only do hand delivery for a completed sale as it’s a faff to bring it speculatively. Obviously the buyer would get chance to inspect thoroughly.) Trades considered for the following (with cash adjustment to or from me where applicable): Cog T-16/T-47 Boss OC-2 MXR VBO/BOD 3Leaf Octabvre Markbass Vintage Pre Moog bass 1.mp3 boog bass.mp3
  14. Original version rather than the newer Pro?
  15. Indeed, if I’d seen that sooner, I’d have likely cracked too.
  16. No, there’s no adjustment. The levels are either summed or averaged, I can’t remember which it is, I’d have to check. Levelling needs to be done in the pedals. Also, there are no phase options so you’ll need to be aware of that. Despite that, it’s a brilliant device.
  17. That’s where the MC6 Pro comes in. Six buttons per page; each button can have multiple actions so could host access to different presets. 4 pages of buttons per bank. Remember, it is also possible to assign PC up/down to controller buttons to have access to all presets. I have up/down programmed to two buttons and a double-press of the same two buttons to jump in tens.
  18. The ML10X has a ridiculous number of presets available: 128 x 4 x 8.
  19. Aclam do a hard case for their line of boards.
