  1. Interesting. I’ve never really changed the settings on my M82 after finding a setting I like. It was fun when I briefly had two of them and played them in series and parallel at two different settings.
  2. I quite like them but they are definitely quite overhyped and pretty spendy for what they are.
  3. Yep, that was what I thought. A case of “careful what you wish for”. Also, I really dislike having stuff foisted upon me that I neither want nor need.
  4. Think I’ve nailed the Phase 90: https://neuro.sourceaudio.net/preset/WM2bdbdaaM
  5. Seems to be a weird issue with these presets not recalling correctly over iOS on my phone. I’m going to try them on desktop to see if that’s better. They sound totally different when recalling them from internal memory. I’ve encountered this before. Edit - desktop seems ok. Obviously a bug somewhere in the iOS app.
  6. That should work for 1-way communication into Input 2 on the pedal with the supplied audio cable. If you want 2-way communication over USB (on the pedals that support this), you’ll need the Camera Connection Kit.
  7. Just uploaded some nice phaser presets that I’ve tried to match as closely as possible to an MXR Phase 95 and Maestro Orbit. They were created on Spectrum but will also work on C4.
  8. Just came upon this today. It evolved from a Lego-based design. Pretty clever:
  9. What is going on with these YouTube links that are now showing captchas instead?
  10. Make me an offer before midday tomorrow. After that I’ll take it to my local shop to trade in.
  11. Lovely 4- and 6-stage analogue phaser that is an evolution of the original Maestro PS-1 phase shifter (the first ever phaser unit) that was designed by the legendary Tom Oberheim. Can be powered by standard 9V supply or a battery. In excellent condition. Slight damage to one edge of the cardboard box as shown in picture. Price includes recorded delivery within the mainland UK.
  12. Nice to hear some positive comments about this. It is a much misunderstood pedal indeed. I tended to just use it in single band mode most of the time. I did move mine on a few months ago as I wasn’t really using it. I don’t really use much distortion and I personally find that having almost infinite options gives me option paralysis. I am finding I get more musical satisfaction from gear that is more restricted in scope so that it either pushes me in a certain direction or forces me to problem solve to get around limitations. It’s the same with synths for me; I prefer something with a limited feature set that allows me to get to a sound quickly and not get distracted by endless tweaking possibilities as it leaves more time for me to come up with musical ideas. It is a fantastic pedal nonetheless, but one that my ageing brain finds too much.
  13. Selling my spare digital piano. Still in excellent condition and well looked after. Wasn’t played much over the last ten years after I bought a Nord. It has a grand piano sound, DX7-style e-piano and a Rhodes. Comes with music rest, original power supply and a Yamaha sustain pedal (which was a huge improvement over the original one). Here’s a link to another exemplar of the same piano that recently sold in my local shop. https://richtonemusic.co.uk/technics-sx-p30-digital-piano-psu-gig-bag-2nd-hand/ Collection only - I have no car access now.
  14. Argh! Really trying to resist more pedals! I appreciate the tag though, @ped, thanks.
