  1. Getting close now. Finished the user manual updates today…
  2. Sold Ryan an MXR VBO last night, which is now in the post to him. Communication was quick, clear and friendly, and payment was sent promptly after he agreed to buy it. Many thanks.
  3. They are, so much so that Joyo has started ripping off their design too.
  4. Well spotted. I have now finally bought a bigger Aclam board so am in the process of redoing everything.
  5. Soon to be sorted by the fine gentleman who is @admiralchew. Basschat is an amazing community!
  6. Thanks, Bruce, I’ll take a look. It is indeed lovely and part me wants to keep it, but for what I use it for, I’m probably fine with other things I’ve got. I don’t tend to make use of extensive modulation or the wavetable stuff so lots of it is wasted on me. Does still sound lovely though and has a fantastic keybed. Also though, I think I’m more into polyphony so I’d get more use out of a new poly. Don’t suppose you fancy this, do you? Not sure when you last had one, but they added a lot of cool new stuff in the last updates.
  7. As it has always been, it is in the manual (though I will see if I can make it less open to misinterpretation). As it states, (Actual) PC 1 recalls preset slot 1. The potential confusion arises in that PC0 is not assigned to anything, but no off-by-1 error, which MIDI monitoring software will verify. I’m not going to belabour this any further as I’ve got recovery to do.
  8. ❤️ Oh, Mike, that’s lovely. Thank you ever so much! Looking forward to hearing about the wedding and holiday too.
  9. By screwed up, I presume you mean doing cross-border loans is now a headache. I think when you loaned me that it was before the full insanity kicked in. Morten had a nightmare when I had to return a wireless mouse receiver that he had accidentally left in a Mortrix beta unit he sent me.
  10. It’s not yet available. It was just shown at the trade show.
  11. I wasn’t griping. Though I’m not actually paid to do support; I do it off my own back.
  12. I had suggested a protective canopy or wall for the encoder but that was met with reluctance. The raised sides was the next idea I had for putting distance between the encoder and switch whilst shrinking the footprint to as small as possible. The layout of the circuit obviously made certain changes impossible. Many folks will be triggering via a controller anyway so won’t be an issue for those people. I used the Beat Buddy and Line 6 One as examples when I was suggesting raised parts. One could add a wide footswitch topper to further reduce clumsiness.
  13. The switches are on raised sides so, like other similarly designed pedals, provide clearance between the switch and encoder.
  14. Presuming you might be talking about MIDI PC numbers. If so, let’s not beat that dead horse again. 😀 The new official mini housing is almost half the size of the original unit and even smaller than Darren’s 3D-printed one. See picture I shared a couple of days ago.
  15. That’s one sweet bass. I was sorely tempted, and so local to me. Hope you love it.
  16. Another easy deal with @Jonathan Bee, this time with me as the buyer. Jonathan very kindly sent me his Octabvre Mini to test, with the option to buy or return it. It’s as lovely as I remember my old MKII being so I decided to buy it. Many thanks.
  17. The Octabvre Mini pictured here is now mine too. Thanks, @Jonathan Bee!
  18. Hi, just wondering if there’s anyone on here who’d be willing to loan me one of these for up to a week. I’ve finally got an OC-2 and just got an Octabvre Mini and would love to try the Cog against these. (I had a v1 T-16 years ago and recently had the T-47, but have never had the chance to put these all side by side.) I’d be happy to pay postage both ways of course and as folks like @ped, @dodge_bass, @charlietuna, @GisserD, @Al Krow and @tonyxtiger who’ve all been kind enough to loan me pedals in the recent and distant past can attest, I always take care of them and return them promptly and in the condition in which they arrived. Thanks in anticipation.
