  1. Too funny not to share. The Oberheim Matrix 12 is the clear winner.

@flytim bought some strings from me earlier in the week. Details and payment all sorted quickly. Many thanks.
  3. @Jake Chancy bought an Ultrawave from me earlier in the week. All organised really quickly and smoothly, with payment received promptly. An easy transaction and I’d gladly trade again. Enjoy the pedal, Jake. Many thanks.
  4. Will consider a trade against an analogue phaser with cash adjustment either way where necessary. Ideally something that does 4 and 6 stage phasing and ideally with rate, depth, resonance and centre frequency controls (though I do like phase 90s too - the EVH or 95 would be preferable if going that route). Let me know what you have.
  5. Glue has come undone on cardboard packaging but these are still sealed in the plastic inner bag (see pictures).
  6. Just in case anyone want wondering, the Beta, normal and bass versions of the pedal are the same; the only difference is that the bass’s bottom-left knob is MIX by default (instead of SUSTAIN) but the knobs are all fully assignable per preset so it’s just the label that differs. All versions are functionally identical.
  7. I used the Okto Nøjs for years, it’s great. Two things worth knowing: 1. dry knob applies to both sides of the pedal equally. 2. top three black knobs control the at-pitch octave fuzz; bottom two black knobs control the octave-down fuzz. Some great synthy sounds with the gain set super low.
  8. Just to clarify, that’s the “jazz taper” neck. They do 41.3mm and 44.5mm nut widths too.
  9. Lakland don’t really make a P bass with a Jazz neck as such. The nut width is 38mm but the front-to-back depth is 22mm at 1st, 24.25mm at 12th. My old one is here: https://thebassgallery.com/collections/all/products/lakland-usa-44-64-pj
  10. No worries. I probably could’ve worded it less ambiguously; serves me right for trying to reply while running around after my very active child.
  11. You’re reading far too much into my response; I wasn’t complaining at all (this isn’t Gearspace😆). Merely stating that I was aware that it wasn’t a new concept and I wanted to post it despite that. I saw it, thought it was interesting and that others might be interested in it too. Nothing more, nothing less.
  12. I’m well aware that the concept has been tackled before. That’s not really why I posted.

  14. Ultrawave does normal dirt too. There’s a user who has done a lot of presets for it of that nature. Mine (limited edition) is currently for sale as I don’t really use distortion at all.
  15. Sold Florent a Korg Monologue this week. Did a video call yesterday to show him it and he paid me thereafter. He came over to collect it today while visiting friends. Great clear and friendly communication throughout to organise a mutually convenient time based around his travel plans. Absolutely hassle-free transaction and always nice to meet a fellow Basschatter. Hope to meet again at some point when we both have a bit more time to talk music/synths. Many thanks, Flo! Hope you enjoy the synth.
  16. The FI’s MIDI map is already available in the Morningstar MIDI dictionary so is easy to pull commands into your MC6. I’ve got a reasonably neat setup for the FI that I might be persuaded to share, but my stuff is all packed away at the moment and I’m mega busy until the middle of next month.
