  1. The C4 wasn’t previously controllable via a USB connection on a phone - it only had 1-way audio connection via the input 2 jack. It now has the same functionality as EQ2 and UltraWave in that you can plug a usb cable into the pedal and your phone and have all changes be read from the pedal - move a knob on the pedal and it is updated in real time on the app on the phone. You can also read what presets are on your pedal from the phone.
  2. Latest Neuro app update adds 2-way USB control for the C4.
  3. I found that my low-output pickups didn’t seem to be strong enough to trigger it over anything but a very small range of the sensitivity knob; guess the active preamp in yours will help with that. Hoping to try the Fwonkbeta again next week courtesy of @CameronJ. Quite enjoying the Qtron nano I just picked up.
  4. Cool. Glad you like it. I knew pretty quickly it wasn’t for me. I prefer the less subtle kind and use the C4/Spectrum/FI for the synthy stuff.
  5. @bassfan what are your thoughts on it so far?
  6. That’s the same seller as the reverb listing.
  7. It has a sample rate reducer only.
  8. Enjoying this one more than the Supa Funk. It’s a very fast attack on the envelope and a nice smooth decay like on the Micro-Tron. Plenty of range on the resonance control. Still think I prefer the Micro-Tron as it has a more noticeable bwah on the front of the note due to the slightly slower attack.
  9. Should be getting one tomorrow.
  10. I guess so, but as I said, I would have preferred a wider range on the resonance control so knew I wasn’t going to keep it anyway.
  11. Yes, the dual filter thing is very cool. I just found I wasn’t getting great results with my bass, probably because my pickups are very low output, so there was only a small portion of the sensitivity control which gave me useable response. The resonance range is also quite narrow and I like to be able to go from very low to very high. Glad to have been able to try it out though and I’m sure someone else will love it.
  12. My second pedal sale to Paul yesterday went through just as smoothly as the first one. Details and payment all sorted quickly. Many thanks.
  13. Sold it already. Some pretty cool sounds in there but I prefer what I’ve already got.
  14. Been wanting to scratch this itch for a while and finally got chance. Not really for me this one though so up it goes. Velcro on the bottom. Original box and cloth bag included. Price includes signed-for UK delivery.
  15. Was mine and am tempted to buy it back. Has the now-standard noise-reduction resistor, so dead quiet when not playing.
  16. With stuff like the Korg Micu, it’s not such a far-fetched idea. Kind of the opposite happened to me too - I was reading a guardian article from April 1st about a multi-million-dollar maple syrup heist and assumed it was a joke, when in fact it actually happened.
  17. I assumed it had been. I only searched it out today. Wish I’d seen it without knowing in advance as someone made a passing reference to it in a source audio April fool’s post so I was already primed.
  18. Can’t believe no one posted this here yet:
  19. On eBay. Won’t get it until Monday. It was originally on at a fairly high price which wasn’t much of a saving on the £166 I’ve seen new ones for. Thankfully it got relisted at a more realistic opening bid and no one else bid.
