OK, I’ve now also worked out what’s going on the headstock of my future Shuker J bass: I suppose this will definitely also have to be a creamy white bass then. Don’t ask if I’m hand-mixing the colour.😆

Jon loved the idea! I’ve improved it and got it as close as I can with as similar a font as I could find to photos of the headstock I found online.

Well this news has made my day:

If you store your sounds as normal then change the pedal to “preset” mode at your rehearsal you can then then adjust the volume knob to set the level and then long press the footswitch to store the change. Be careful not to adjust any other parameter before saving unless you want to overwrite the parameter.

Busy schedule meant my bacon has been saved. White it shall be. I’ll save the blue for my next one, providing Jon doesn’t refuse to build me another out of sheer frustration. 😆

Exactly, that’s why I’ve been nervous throughout the process - matching paint colour by eye to a sample is very tricky.

The FI can do a fair bit without the editor by tweaking the 9 parameters on the pedal surface. Though in practice I never use these as I do all my programming via the editor. When I get some time (haha) I might put together some presets which will be designed to be tweaked from the panel and share them. Because the panel only offers nine coarse steps per parameter, careful thought would need to be given about the ranges in use of the underlying presets in order to maximise usefulness. It also depends on whether the global filter adjustment parameter is set to 2, 4 or 8 octaves. (I have mine set to the full 8 and use my Morningstar controller to limit the range of expression messages as desired.)
