Annoying tax bill and other gear purchase plans mean that this probably needs to go. Only had it a few weeks so haven’t had so much time to get attached to it. Collection in Sheffield preferred though potentially it could be handed over at a meet-up or delivered in person, depending on location. Comes with a (non-original) case which has a bit of structural damage on one side so I wouldn’t want to ship it in it really. Asking what I paid for it. No more, no less.

It’s a question of good muting between each note. I found that using synth pedals highlighted problems in my technique, mainly that I wasn’t alternating fingers strictly, which in turn caused muting issues. The Gary Willis muting technique of placing the non-plucking finger on the string immediately after the plucking finger has played the note works well. This in combination with left-hand muting between notes should help a lot. You can actually use the C4 as a practice tool to work on these things.

Yes, I realised about the long wait times, hence the last sentence which I appended about a minute after posting. Hmrc sets the rate for the calendar month a few days before the beginning of the month, so the rate for the whole of July this year was set on 27th June. The rate is fixed for the whole calendar month. So if your item is processed by customs on any day within that month, that is the rate that will be applied.

Start with Zach Rizer’s walkthrough video of the pedal for what the C4 does. To learn about synthesis, use this fun interactive site: https://learningsynths.ableton.com

Source Audio UltraWave (One Series Multiwave distortion)

If what you are using has usb host facility, then no. Also, SA are soon launching an adapter which will act as a host and means the Hub isn’t required. -
The importer needs to pick a code and this one looks the closest match. Noble is a small company so I’m confident a buyer could easily communicate this info to the seller. HMRC publish monthly exchange rates so it is easy to look up exactly what one will be charged at the point of purchase. Probably prudent to order at the beginning of a month so as to not get caught out if there’s a big rise the next month. Though with a 36-week wait, that’s much harder.

Afraid not, I’ve never used a Helix. There are folks who do it though. I use my Morningstar controller to do the MIDI duties on my SA pedals. -
Look up the category (or closest equivalent) on the HMRC website for the item. It’s basically 20% VAT, plus the customs duty for the item (about 2.5% for effects pedals), plus a £12-25 clearance fee to whatever courier is handling the delivery, depending on the size of the item. you might be able to put it under this code: “Amplifier, consisting of active and passive elements mounted on a printed circuit, contained in a housing” 8543709030. 2% customs duty on this.

They are well aware of this. Obviously retrofitting isn’t viable though. The included USB cable works with an Apple CCK. -

I love it and does almost everything I need it to, partly because I’ve had quite a few of my suggestions for features and improvements implemented along the way, but also because Morningstar make really good products and listen well to customer feedback. Essential for engaging and switching the order of non-MIDI pedals (and even the MIDI ones). Being able to split and recombine the signal at any point any number of times is powerful. Solved my problem of not having an octave pedal with its own dry kill switch. So many uses. -
I’ve been beta testing this since late last year and it’s finally launching at the weekend! https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cf6bc4gl6-7/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= https://www.morningstar.io/ml10x manual is here: https://manuals.morningstar.io/ml10x/user-manual

That doesn’t really help, I’m afraid. For some reason, the serial number site does not distinguish between the various different burst finishes they offer so 3-tone sunburst, cherry sunburst and honeyburst all get listed as “sunburst”. Mine is the same. Does yours look more brown or more orange/yellow? To me it looks like it’s probably honeyburst (but some of the pictures where the highlights are blown out make it look like cherry).
