Thought about using this on a bitsa but decided I need the money towards my Shuker build instead. This is almost new. It came off the 44-64 USA Classic series that I ordered. (The neck pocket on the body had been cut too large so there was a bit of a gap. Rather than have me ship the whole bass back, they simply sent me a new neck with a bit more meat on the heel, which Jon Shuker then sanded to size and fitted.) So this neck has hardly had any play at all. Lovely quartersawn maple, rosewood board with birdseye maple dot markers. Given the cost of one of these basses is about £2600 new after taxes, I thought this was a reasonable asking price.

For a more accurate colour representation I used a Pantone colour match card with their app. They give this: It does vary a fair bit depending on the ambient lighting conditions.

Indeed. Had a few people contact me via Reverb but nothing I was willing to go with yet. It’s sounding better the more these flats break in.
