  1. Hi the bass weighs 4kg /8.8lds
  2. Thanks I will try one of these, hopefully won’t impact on playing.
  3. Thanks for all comments, some really good feedback. I have started new techniques and experimenting with my different basses. The comments from Chris b I can relate to, as many years ago I was having physio after an accident and the physiotherapist immediately asked me did I play bass guitar due to the problems I was having with my hands. Clever people. 👍
  4. Good morning Bass chatters, I have arthritis in my thumbs but just recently my left (fretting) thumb has started to get really painful when playing. Are there any of you that can recommend a good thumb support or have experienced similar. I have had two steroid injections but sadly haven’t worked. I would welcome any constructive feedback. Thanks in advance. John
  5. Hi I purchased this bass new in July 2023 and have only used it a handful of times. It is in as new condition and has only been used for a few hours overall. It is a lovely guitar but unfortunately I have athritis in my hands and find the C shape neck a struggle, so sadly it has to go. It has the Fender premium gig bag that came with it, this is unused. You can find all the specification in the usual way. Thanks for looking.
  6. Hi Joe is this still for sale?
  7. No, I believe he sourced the components individually.
  8. The Bass has a 34'' scale.
  9. I bought this Bass from a guy who builds his own guitars. I have had it set up and serviced by our guitarist. The Bass plays really well sounds great and will hold its tuning perfectly. However, I bought it on a whim as I play in a Glam Rock Band and thought it would look great on stage, photo's etc. But the truth is I have never used it. There are a couple of little dinks on it, hardly noticeable and do not affect the playability. Cash on collection only please. Thanks for looking. John

  14. For sale is my Ashdown Evo II 500 which I have owned from new. It is in fantastic condition and is complete with Ashdown cover. Also for sale is my Schroeder 1212L speaker cabinet in very good condition 800 watts at 4 ohms, also has a dust cover. Only reason for sale is that they are not getting used as I have downsized to a Markbass Rig, not getting any younger. Collection only please no trades.
  15. What is the weight of the Bass please.
  16. A long shot but are you still in need of a bassist? John
