  1. Peter is a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. His gear is kept to the highest standards and you can purchase from him with absolute confidence, in my humble opinion. Until next time (Prophet 10). Just saying 😜
  2. It was really good to meet you yesterday, Peter, and I'm sorry if I didn't hang about. I'd sneaked off work and was..... overly aware of the time. The SE was in place and up and running in my shed less than 10 minutes after I left your place 🤣. If ever you get tired of that Prophet 10, you have my number 😉
  3. Good job I didn't see this earlier...... I would have had 5 Shukers instead of 4!
  4. Nice! Always fancied one of these. What sort of bass are you after? T
  5. Beautiful, as usual. Neck looks just like my JJB sig. Lovely.
  6. Awesome bass!! OMG mode is massive.
  7. Lovely piece of kit. A Roadie Active 2? That right?
  8. Is that the Mk2? I can't remember if the 5 string mk1 had the 'slap cut' or not. I've had both in a 4 string flavour. Brilliant instruments.
  9. Bargain. Picked up one of these a couple of weeks ago and they punch well above their price tag. Well above.
  10. Great bass. I have the same with Barts and an East pre and it's the best 5er I've owned.
  11. Lovely piece of kit that. I really shouldn't, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted. Asking price seems very fair.
  12. I have a '3' and it's a monster, like nothing else I've played. Remarkable instruments.
  13. Demo'd one in the early 90's, loved it and finally picked one up a few years ago. Cracking bass. Love the preamp.
  14. My favourite bass, hands down.
  15. I'm having a studio reshuffle and so I'm putting my Deepmind 12 (keyboard version) up for sale. Incredible piece of kit for minimal outlay. I've owned this one from new, it's in great condition (home studio use only). I don't have the original box anymore, so I'd rather not post. I'll drive out to meet someone within a reasonable distance. trev

  16. Perfect! Cheers for this.
  17. This is a question for anyone with a Yamaha Attitude LTD 3. I have a brand new Limited 3 and I'm just trying to wrap my head around what the controls are doing. Twin output mode works as I would expect, each pickup having a linear volume control with a tone roll off and push/pull hi-cut circuit for the neck pickup. The pickups blend as I would expect. The middle pup retains it's clarity throughout. It's the single output or "Mono" mode that is confusing me. It sounds to me like the volume controls for each pickup, instead of giving a linear increase in volume, now have a very sharp taper as you approach full output. So they seem to go from "off" to "on" in the last 10% of the pot range. And then, when both pickups are blended with the tone on the neck pup rolled off, the middle pickup almost disappears from the mix. I was wondering if anyone with a Limited 3 could tell me if this is designed behaviour or if this one's been wired up funny.
  18. Hah!! I’ve got one of these. Flippin’ brilliant piece of kit. Knocked spots off of my Dirty Blonde. I seem to recall the leather gig bag’s worth a pretty penny on it’s own…. trev
