  4. I had one identical to this (bar the aftermarket socket) that I bought for £70 when I was a student in 1989. It sounded and played brilliantly and I wish I'd never parted with it. Good find!

  17. Heh. I have one of these. in spite of it's pointiness, it's rather versatile and plays very well (the neck feels like a jazz with slightly tighter string spacing at the bridge). The pickups, as far as i can tell, are Bartolini T4cb's and the preamp's a NTBT 918 and the combo sounds great; deep and warm with a nice bite when the treble's rolled up. Glwts
