  11. 12. SOLDSOLDSOLDSOLD The Raven Labs PHA-1 is a battery-powered pre-amp/mixer/headphone amp about the size of a box of 24 Crayola crayons made by Steve Rabe (the guy who founded SWR) and it is AMAZING. It has two 1/4" inputs for your bass (one of which has a 3db pad), which feed a pre-amp with volume, bass, mid and treble controls. On the back, there's a 1/4" stereo/mono jack for your CD MP3 or player, and there's a volume control on the front panel for each channel, allowing a mix between your bass and the 2 channels of a stereo mix. The rear channel also has a line out allowing the box to be used as a pre-amp. There's also an aux send on the rear panel, which when used with the mono rear channel CD/MP3 input doubles as an effects loop. It's powered by two 9 volts which are supposed to last 50 hours, and it weighs less than 1 lb. Bottom line: £120 gets you a great-sounding headphone practice amp you can run an MP3 player or CD into, and an emergency stand-by pre-amp that will fit in your gig bag. Can't beat it! These are highly sought after and very hard to come by, lots of great reviews on the net if you search. Well looked after, comes with fresh batteries and a convenient Digitech carry case. Collection or delivery within Scottish central belt or £5 postage.
  13. SOLDSOLDSOLD SWR Workingmans 10 bass combo - £100 The Workingman's 10 offered the "SWR Sound to go". An easily portable cube amp with a surprising amount of power. Includes amp cover and features: a little kick back stand on the bottom to tilt it back a bit as well as a built in very high quality DI and the ability to defeat the horn and use with headphones only, which the older versions lacked. Slight damage to one of the knobs and the handle is wrapped in a towel to protect your hand as the rubber handle had worn away to reveal the metal underneath. Great little practice amp and capable of smaller gigs and rehearsals too, and ideal for beginners looking for a high quality, small amp. Power Output: 80 watts @ 8 ohms (internal cabinet) 100 watts @ 4 ohms (with 8 ohm extension cabinet) Speaker complement: (1) 10" Custom design SWR driver (1) LeSon TLX-1 tweeter Dimensions: 16.25"W x 14.5"H x 14"D Weight: 32 lbs. Production period: 1998 to June, 2003; Feb. 2004 to Jan., 2006 Final Retail Price: $571.41 Collection or delivery in scottish central belt.
