  1. The bass is sold now, just want to mention one thing, as I thing it would be not fair if I would not do so, while the bass was sold as an 'and berg', The Gallery got back to me a couple of days after I sold it with a news that they got a replacement logo from Sandberg and that they will sort it out anytime if I bring the bass to the shop. It was about a month until I picked the bass back from them, and because I had the opportunity to let it go and wasn't sure if it will or when it will be sorted I let it go. So if anyone got a mixed feelings about the Gallery after reading this story just mind that they did not forget about all this stuff and even that I can't bring the bass to get it sorted because I do not have it anymore I will still use their shop when I will need it, as I was over the years when every once in a while I had some basses that needed work. Thanks, Pat
  2. Still patiently waiting for the new owner. Still nothing from The Gallery about the damaged logo.
  3. Haha, I will certainly point them in the right direction then. By the way, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANY TRADE OFFERS, I clearly stated that it is SALE ONLY because I am broke after buying a new bass, and still I am receiving offers for trade demanding cash from me.
  4. This topic lacks a typical 'if it was a fiver i'd have it!' or 'if it was a sunburst i'd have it!' or 'if it only had that S in the logo i'd have it!' bump!
  5. Thanks for your kind words guys. It is one of a hell of a bass indeed and it wont be easy to part with it and I hope it will find a good home.
  6. few detailed pics added to the very top post, here the and berg is sitting next to the replacement
  7. Thanks, as I posted in the previous comment I will shot some pictures tomorrow as it will be my day off from work.
  8. I didn't bump it for a while because after I picked up the bass I noticed one little (but important) defect. The bass is missing 'S' on the headstock logo making it one of a kind andberg bass. A bit of a silly situation, I didn't look at the bass at all when I was picking it up and got it out of gig bag at home and there it was. I contacted the shop and they got back to me that they will contact Sandberg and see if they will be able to sort it out, but it was a week ago and I don't know how long it will take for them to do something with it. Here is the pic of the headstock so, that's the only thing that needs to be added now to few very small marks on the back of the body. Apart from that the bass is in excellent condition with nice and low action and exceptional german built quality. And because I received my student loan 2 days ago, and spent half of it one day ago on american vintage 64 jazz, this one definitely needs to go now to fill a bit of the massive hole in my budget, and a new price 650 quid which is about half price what it sells brand new, not going any more down I'm afraid, and no trades at all. Will shot few good quality pics tomorrow, and I am giving it a week more here before it will hit ebay, gumtree and anything else.
  9. Picking it up from the Gallery on thursday
  10. Ah, I see, too bad, your bass looks tasty, but as I have never tried one of them and I don't know what they are like to play I must leave it. Wish you good luck with the sale though!
  11. Hi there, where are you located? I have a Sandberg California TT active bass, I might be interested in trade, but would have to try it first as I have never played on one of these.
  12. I know it is a long shot because you probably are not looking for another Jazz Bass, but you never know until you ask, so, would you be interested in a german Sandberg California TT?
  13. up! Hit me up with something!
  14. So, I got the job and I am almost sure that this will be withdrawn within a week or two, but for now, I am happy to listen to some trade offers. Could do a straight trade too, so hit me up with something, you never know! This Sandberg is a hell of a jazz bass! Any Warwicks? Always wanted to have a streamer, or thumb (no corvettes though i'm afraid, I had two of them before) Or anything else? Maybe some 5 or 6 string basses with a narrow string spacing?
  15. I would genuinely take a loan to get this after trying one of them at the London Bass Guitar Show. Can't stop thinking about it. The problem is that I am a student, no chance to get a loan. Need to practice harder, get some gigs, earn some money!
  16. haha, have a nice gig and I will wait for some pics of your bass, cheers.
  17. Cool, I'll wait for the details. Sure we could meet up, but the thing is that at the beginning of april I am getting another instalment of my student loan, and might go to part time job from next week and that means my financial situation will get back to more comfortable and I might just keep the Sandberg as it is a superior Jazz and after my recent amp acquisition I am very close to be overdrawn and that is the only reason I am thinking about shifting the Sandberg.
  18. It looks like I am going to do some part time job and hopefully will be able to keep the bass! So, I might withdraw it within a week or two. For now, I am still open for trade or cash offers.
  19. Jack is a really good chap and deal with him with confidence, we are class mates at uni and I was listening to this bass every monday through last semester and it sounds great!

Just sold DOD Meat Box to Chris, very good overall communication, Chris came and collected the item personally exactly at the time we arranged. He is a very nice person and as the previous comments already stated, deal with absolute confidence. Thanks again!
