1. People inviting their mates to join without asking the rest of us. Being told what to play by someone who couldn't be arsed to tune his own instrument. (Getting fired doesn't count... - "okay, I'm breaking the band up" and then inexpicably reforming with different members a fortnight later counts as getting fired IMO.)
2. Keir bought my Tanglewood Curbow. All went well, with no issues. I'm glad it's gone to a good home, and I'd be happy to trade with him again. Thanks
3. I seem to remember Lu Edmonds is a dedicated saz player. (He was in 3 Mustaphas 3 - a high recommendation, in my book.) How are they tuned? Are the frets tied-on, like a lute?
4. I bought Ian's defretted Squier neck. Everything went well and I'm a happy bunny. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks Ian
5.
Paddle headstock neck. -Is the headstock angled? -Is the headstock lacquered? -Tuner hole size? (closer to 14mm or 17mm) -drilled or undrilled? Cheers.
Angled: No. Lacquered: Yes; one coat, I'd say. Tuner hole size is a touch under 18mm. Drilled. I trimmed the corner where the board was damaged. I think this will sand out and be all but invisible - you can't play on that bit anyway.
6. Pondering pinching the neck and defretting it to fit on my Vox Standard...
7.
My first bass, a Yamaha RBX270F, can be picked up for absolute peanuts and is a great bass. Not sure on the nut width though!
40mm I think. I'm sure someone here knows
8.
The fifth knob is on the lower horn.

I saw this a few weeks ago - this caught my eye...I could only count 4 knobs. "TTThe Gibson pickup fitted 69' stamped 68 inc pots all 5 knobs are 60s originals"
Traditionally the other knob is behind the bass
9. Steve bought a CD from me. No problems and all went sweetly - I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks
10. Lack of use, and particularly if it's not doing anything unique. Lack of use is often because I don't get on with it, so sometimes this actually means I don't like the sound or the neck or the ergonomics. Not always true though - the last one I sold was an SR500 which was lovely.
11. Pics would be fascinating (BC doesn't always play nicely with pictures. I put mine on Photobucket, then link to them.)
12. Dave and I did a deal for his hard case and alarm system, and all went well. I'd be happy to deal with him again. Thanks Dave
13. Simon bought a CD from me. All went well, no problems at all. Happy to deal with him again. Cheers
14. Ibanez GSR180, about 9 years ago. Decent enough starter kit; sold the bass to a colleague, still got the practice amp somewhere.
15.
My old Squier P bass special, its been played about with as you can see, was originally sunburst, since then its had a fretless neck, now gone, some new pickups, new tuners, won't ever get rid, and I still gig it too
I recognise those tuners...
16.
Does anyone rehearse at someone's house?
Yes. Three-piece, no drummer, so it's definitely easier. (Mind you, they had a drummer before I joined, and still rehearsed there.)
17. Per the seller, "One of the pictures shows small scuff marks on the guitar. It may be able to be buffed out. ... We'll have the guitar professionally set by STARR Guitars ..." So it might buff out, but seller isn't going to get the tech to do it while it's being set up. Hmm.
18. It was relisted for £295... (No longer available.)
