I had a five-string version of this. Fab, and well underpriced. If I was still playing fives I'd have kept it. Sadly I have no space or cash for this one...

I doubt if the pups (and knobs!) are original, but that's not surprising. The headstock looks like an early Ibanez, but I don't think it's quite right? I defer to the people who actually know...

Pretty sure mine is one of the early ones - it ate batteries, till I trashed the wiring by accident (on about the tenth battery in three months) and had to patch it. That seemed to sort it out.

The neck repair... ew. It may well be perfectly sound, but it does not look pleasing.

I like it, in its way. I'm not sure about the bridge though - is it on straight?

Maybe that's why the bridge looks wonky?
