1. Start with an Ibanez 6-string? Something like an SR506.
2.
Could be a mad scramble to buy it.
You think people will want to get it into their clutches?
3. I'd probably cross the road to avoid that. I'm not sure if it would work though.
4.
These puns are paltry.
They're worse than that. Some of them are absolutely fowl.
5. I had a five-string version of this. Fab, and well underpriced. If I was still playing fives I'd have kept it. Sadly I have no space or cash for this one...
6. I doubt if the pups (and knobs!) are original, but that's not surprising. The headstock looks like an early Ibanez, but I don't think it's quite right? I defer to the people who actually know...
7.
Aye. Couldn't say when they changed though. The reissue will definitely be 35" scale though, whenever it appears.
Thanks KB. Pretty sure mine is one of the early ones - it ate batteries, till I trashed the wiring by accident (on about the tenth battery in three months) and had to patch it. That seemed to sort it out.
8. Saw Billy Bragg with Robyn Hitchcock supporting there, must be 25 years ago. Great evening
9.
Libraries great places. My mum was librarian as well. Political point: enjoy them while they still exist, austerity 2 / 3 / 4 ? is on the way.
This.
10.
Great bass, no doubt about it. Sounds & plays the same as the US version albeit 34" instead of 35"
Were there two versions? My Cirrus BXP is 35"...
11. Usual weekend bump.
12.
Perhaps his name is Lewis, and he was born in Clapham... out on the windy common, that night he's not forgotten...
Congratulations on squeezing that one in...
13.
How much would postage be?
PMed.
14. And his user name is...
15. It's probably attached to the carpet...
16. The neck repair... ew. It may well be perfectly sound, but it does not look pleasing.
17. I like it, in its way. I'm not sure about the bridge though - is it on straight?
18. Maybe that's why the bridge looks wonky?
19.
I would love to take on this bass but I am skint at the moment. I have a number of things up for sale so when they sell I will take it. If you still have it that is.
What are you selling? Maybe we can trade
