1. it looks nice, especially given the source of the wood Just wondering if the brass electrics plate would do "as is", i.e. without plating? Too much chance of corrosion, perhaps?
 2. Tim bought some strings off me. A nice clean deal, very quick and with good comms throughout. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Cheers!
 3. I never learnt to play the one I bought. My ex-guitarist has got it, I should get it back off him.
 4. Sadly I have too many Peaveys already... The Foundations are very nice, and Eddie's a nice guy. GLWTS!
 5. I don't do Stingrays, so I don't know about EBMM, but that does seem weird.
 6.
"What year car do you drive" - Seriously?!
I'm guessing it's American for "is your car reliable?".

 10.
Sounds like you may well have all dodged a bullet there: imagine Stig Of The Dump Turning up to every gig...
This. We sound bad enough with me playing ...
 11.
Ooh, PM'ed about the Labella Nylons. I'd been wanting to try those...
Second dibs please
 12.
Sometimes there is a sticker inside the cavity with a model number or series number.
Thanks. I think you're right, the BC basses have a note on the inside of the cover plate. But I do wonder how anyone looking at the advert would be able to tell.
 13. I haven't seen an SB401 on eBay before. Mind you, I don't see how you'd know it was an SB401... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-collection-SGC-Nanyo-SB401-made-in-japan-bass-guitar-/141871310232?hash=item2108306598:g:dC0AAOSwwPhWjpkp
