1. I wonder what went wrong with our love I wonder why she ran away And I wonder where she will stay.
 2. Reduced to £75 posted. I nabbed this off eBay because I was curious about the controls and fancied a project, but I haven't got time to do anything with it and I need the space. Maverick was a UK-based company, now folded. This is a four-string, metallic black with matching headstock; TRC and a couple of screws missing. The trussrod turns smoothly. It needs rewiring; when I first had it the pups worked but one of the tone controls did nothing. I took the electrics cover plate off and looked at the roller pot assembly; they are mounted on a frame which can be removed - it looks to me as if they are normal pots mounted sideways. Now it makes almost no noise, so I suspect I've stretched a wire somewhere. The back of the neck has a deep scratch running to the scarf joint. I am pretty sure it is a scratch, not a crack. I've tried to photograph it. The neck has its share of minor dents. The bass has dents and scars; it ought to be refinished, probably. 3. Interesting Paint-wise, I'm not all that keen on white, generally, but I love the white and pale grey that Yamaha do on the RBX4A2. That should work really well on the faceted body, IMO.
 4. It's an Ibanez SRX of some sort. Bound body, four knobs in a row. (I have an SRX430, out on loan to a friend.) Which specific model, I don't know; I'd guess you can't tell without looking at it up close.
 5. Looks good so far. I love the neck dots Also, please tell more about your Vox Standard fretless. I've been wondering about doing something similar for a bit.
 6.
Anything left?
Unlikely, given it's nearly two years later.
 7.
wonder if you could do some kind of T40 market place where the price varies according to the weight....
Inversely
 8.
Very true - but I sooo badly want a Riverhead Unicorn to go alongside my Hohner B2A & Cort P/J. No way on earth to justify four... ....is there? J.
I forgot the Hondo Alien... so yes
 9.
Obviously make sure that your new neck has the same number of frets as the current one. Seems obvious, but easily overlooked.
This!
 10. I may also decide to sell my T-40... I don't get on with the neck, and replacing it would be barbarous
 11. Bach cello pieces. Try Suite no.3 in Cmaj. I guess there is a chance of offending purists.
 12.
Very tempted - these don't come up very often. But I can't exactly justify owning three 80s headlesses... Jon.
They don't take up much space... (Hohner B2A, Westone Rail, Kramer The Duke here.)
 13. Looks nice, doesn't it? I have the impression black ones are relatively rare. Sadly, the £125 shipping cost is not my perfect number...
 14.
blimey... not really worth it then.
Makes the Thomann shipping look proper cheap, doesn't it?
 15.
I've now received my Kahuna Ukulele bass , and my initial thoughts are that there's nothing much wrong with it as far as I can see/hear , but then I've never had a Uke bass before!
I wondered who got to that before me Hope it's a good'un!
 16. This is the sort of thing I was getting at here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/268462-a-modders-database-feeler/page__pid__2853386#entry2853386 Neck radius is the fingerboard curvature, I am sure. I've seen profiles online, but they aren't necessarily useful to the inexperienced player.
 17.
Great idea. Hohner B bass has a set neck...
Thanks My B Bass B doesn't... possibly I am not aware of the Hohner range.
 18.
I recall someone in the BC community (can't remember who) saying something like "if you're going to play in a worship group, do it for spiritual reasons rather than musical ones, otherwise you'll be conflicted". Having said that, I'm with the OP on this. "Community" also means asking " would it be OK if...?" or "do you think it would work if...?". Not just turning up!
Indeed.
 19. Skint... Good luck with your sale
 20.
Anyone near Poole, this guy is a legend. https://www.facebook....benton?fref=ts
Good to know. Thanks.
