A Stanley blade definitely won't do it, and you risk both your own fingers and the finish of the bass..

I'm learning Python and SQL, in an effort to make myself more marketable, ho ho. I have accumulated several cheap basses (under £100) which need new necks - typically because of stuck trussrods. None are of significant sentimental value. Some are still playable but obviously can't be adjusted. Given that new necks are expensive, what advice would people give? Thanks in advance
