1.
I've now received my Kahuna Ukulele bass , and my initial thoughts are that there's nothing much wrong with it as far as I can see/hear , but then I've never had a Uke bass before!
I wondered who got to that before me Hope it's a good'un!
 2. This is the sort of thing I was getting at here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/268462-a-modders-database-feeler/page__pid__2853386#entry2853386 Neck radius is the fingerboard curvature, I am sure. I've seen profiles online, but they aren't necessarily useful to the inexperienced player.
 3.
Great idea. Hohner B bass has a set neck...
Thanks My B Bass B doesn't... possibly I am not aware of the Hohner range.
 4.
I recall someone in the BC community (can't remember who) saying something like "if you're going to play in a worship group, do it for spiritual reasons rather than musical ones, otherwise you'll be conflicted". Having said that, I'm with the OP on this. "Community" also means asking " would it be OK if...?" or "do you think it would work if...?". Not just turning up!
Indeed.
 5. Skint... Good luck with your sale
 6. Delta Five, IIRC.
 7.
Anyone near Poole, this guy is a legend. https://www.facebook....benton?fref=ts
Good to know. Thanks.
 8. I've gone the wood route a couple of times. Make sure you let it dry thoroughly before re-drilling
 9.
I've tried an E Bow on a bass and it didn't have enough power to work so I do think you'd need to turn up the amplification.
When I knew where it was, I had a bass-eBow. That was useless on one setting but worked fine on the other.
 10. A Stanley blade definitely won't do it, and you risk both your own fingers and the finish of the bass..
 11.
Cant load them. Plz send email. Cheers
BC site software has issues with images. Your best bet is to host them somewhere like Photobucket and link to them.
 12. Hmm. I wonder how many Peaveys I should have before this becomes an essential purchase?
 13. Interesting Thanks for clarifications. My next question is how they hang the bodies while painting/staining them. if that spot is directly beneath the hanger, perhaps it's not drying well?
 14. I've an SR300 set up like this. Works fine. I should flog it, I'm not using it.
 15. 'Israelites'. I can't get the pattern of when the rising scale appears. Possibly because certain guitarists and singers don't necessarily know either

 17.
I've edited this to £575 I put the wrong price in but it hasn't updated for some reason
Known bug It might help if you put a "reduced" or similar in the title, otherwise people who looked earlier will pass it by.
 18.
How does this happen? You say that part never gets touched?
My first thought was slap impact, but the damage is between the G and D strings (the OP appears to be left-handed), so I don't think that can be it. Second guess is fingertip impact, but only if that's where the OP actually plays - thumb on the top of the neck pup could put fingertips in a position to produce wear like that, especially if the action is low. So could slap+pop. Third guess is a resonance effect, but that is definitely a long shot. This is all pure speculation, obviously
 19. And there was me thinking I'd got rid of my headless GAS... Sadly I can't justify it. Good luck with your sale!
 20.
Spotted this whilst looking for some tuners on Ebay, might be worth keeping an eye on if you have J or P type basses. http://tinyurl.com/nrucwd8
Thank you, that's on my Watch list.
 21.
So pretty! Never seen one of these before!
They are not common. But yeah, gorgeous
