1.
Another Tune Bass Maniac has cropped up on Gumtree in pink! Ebony fretboard. http://www.gumtree.c...ring/1117150144
Oooh... skint again
2.
Playing with a pick. Slapping. Popping. Harmonics. Anything involving a crazy mixture of open and fretted notes. Anything beyond the 9th fret. Er..not doing too well here am I?
this.
3. I have no idea what these go for but surely this is worth a punt... Collect only from Birkenhead, otherwise I might. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hemez-Bass-Guitar-/201353100070?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ee1947b26
4. Whoa... that looks to be a monster! And cheap. Sadly, I'm still skint, and still not playing fives. Good luck
5. You can always put a DFA switch on it if you remove the 4-knob.
6. I have a Cimar P-bass, which I have specifically because it looks trad as a trad thing - currently awaiting a neck replacement, because the trussrod is stuck. I also have a matched pair of Peavey Foundations, one fretted one fretless. I'd never have bought them if they weren't a pair. I think I might sell them.
7. Still nothing. I think I should be playing some other instrument.
8. If Pepsi want me to advertise them, they can pay me to do it...
9.
There must be something from Neil Young and Crazy Horse you can do.
Cinnamon Girl?
10. I am skint so I won't be affording the Poole one. I suppose I could go have a look... but it's not wise
11. That's a really good price, IMO. (Assuming it's in decent nick, etc.)
12. I don't like it, too fiddly; but I guess it's better than "relicing"... apart from anything else it does seem to show some actual skill and ambition.
13. Would the owner be prepared to remove the electrics cover?
14. New to me, though it does stir an old memory I can't pin down. The bridge/tuner arrangement is very Kramer The Duke(/Hondo Alien). (The serial number doesn't follow the Kramer patterns I know of, but I'm not well-informed.) Where is it, and how much is the asking price?
15.
AT thanks for the heads up. I thought that one was over in the US. Tell you what that is a fantastic low price for one. I think I paid £250 for mine from a car parts dealer in the States. If anyone is interested in the T-20 I'd recommend you buy it quick. They don't come up too often over here.
If I had any money...
16. Too many basses, and bills to pay... Good luck with your sale
17.
Looks a bit like a weather map of England minus Wales and Scotland
UKIP bass
18. Nice If I was playing fives, I'd definitely be interested - I've a four-string Fury and it's a monster.
19. Nope. I live on my own though.
20. Simply Red. Dr Hook. "Novelty" "comedy" songs by people like Jasper Carrott.
21. Seventy-seven quid for a clip-on tuner?! Heel be lucky.
