Relic "features"?

The frets on the J neck I have (on a bitsa) are not exactly blunt...

I think £150 is about right. I also think that the market undervalues them at that price. I'd guess this one probably hasn't sold because the seller has described dings but not provided pics; that would certainly put me off.

Don't know (no surprise . The headstock is vaguely Peavey-ish, but the big scratchplate? Don't know.

Can't stand them... their only saving grace is that you can lean them against things and they don't fall over. Very tricky to play sitting down.

Nut looks too wide for me. Nice colour, pups look pretty. I hope it doesn't come with that hard case though

These things will save you time and pain in the future.

Nothing wrong with P basses. Perhaps a little expensive for a first bass? Not everyone gets on with the P-bass neck (I don't). You should be able to pick up something very playable for £250-ish, especially if you try the For Sale forum here. Ibanez SR300, Squier P or J basses, Peavey Milestone III would all be decent starters, especially if you buy second-hand from someone who knows their stuff. The Westfields are decent for the money. I hear good things about the new Revelations.

It's a bit pointless, TBH. Nobody will be able to see the pattern from beyond about 20 yards, so why bother?
