1.
I can post but will have to be in very well packed cardboard box as the last Basschatter never returned my hard case
Not good. I hope there's suitable feedback...
2. definitely too pointy for my taste, but I'm still curious
3. My sister lives in Bristol; I should be in the area in May, with any luck. Might be able to drop by with mine for an hour or two.
4. I have a Standard, which I love and will never sell, despite its weight and treetrunk neck; and also a Custom 3002, which is not very interesting at all, and is heavy and has a treetrunk neck. I should sell it, but I doubt I'd get what I paid.
5. The only time it's ever happened to me, I could only think "blimey. So you're tone deaf and don't know when my timing's f***ed...".
6.
The wife isn't happy I'm selling it ...
Not a sentence one sees on BC very much
7. Oooh. I love the angled P pup
8. I sold Graeme a Badass II. No issues, good comms, good deal. Recommended
9.
Latest delivery from YODEL. Used to be an Epiphone Les Paul.
Ouch. That's painful to look at.
10.
Iv had a revelation jazz neck under the bed for about a years now, bought it iff ebay for £20ish, I had completely forgot about it till these posts! It seems very well made, maple with blocks and binding, should put it on a body at some point!
If you decide to sell it, please let me know
11.
Where are you based?
Sig says Glasgow. Not the sig. That thing over on the left, whatever that's called...
12.
If received wisdom from 5-string players is correct and there's nothing you can do on a four-string that you can't do on a five-string... ...my question would be, 'Why??'
Rounds and flats?
13. That Pi looks heavy... what does it weigh?
14.
so are these £50 (value) or £85 as in the body copy?
£85. My mistake; I originally listed the Badass on its own, then added the Barts later when I worked out I'd have to split the photos. Edit: I've tried to increase the header value. No dice.
15. What HowieBass said, at least in my limited experience. There's a short somewhere (and leaving the lead in would count as a short in my book ).
16. It looks like it's made of plywood... Actually, it looks like it's been machined out of solid plywood... !
17. You might be able to get a fretless one and have it fretted, though I don't suppose that's cheap...
18. Humberside, he says... not so sure.
19.
Parcelforce appear to stipulate guitars in hard cases only?
I believe so. But I don't think you're insured even then, because IIUC they don't insure musical instruments.
20. Neither, but burgundy is the better of the two
21.
These from Custom World Guitars in Holland seem to be well regarded and are decently priced: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c4e6268b6 (all maple ones available too)
I have heard good things about these as well.
22. Satin or matt black beats gloss black, to my mind.
