1. Failing all else, try tuning down a whole tone.
2. Whoa, prices are going up?!
3. hI Alan Welcome to the low end Lots of fun on BC, lots of knowledgeable and helpful people, but I'd advise you to stay off the For Sale boards unless you have a very, very understanding bank manager...
4. Evening squire, and welcome aboard
5. A touch under £20 if you go Parcelforce, IIRC. You could always add £20 and refund anything left over.
6.
You say you'd rather not split them...but would you consider it? I'm after one body for a project.
Probably not, but PM incoming anyway...
7.
It is, isn't it? Very Hohner Revelation-ish, in fact! Hohner's Revelations (sometimes known as the Eurofighter Guitar) were assembled in Wales from bodies & necks made in the Czech Republic, Schaller & Wilkinson hardware, and ATX pickups made by Alan Entwistle - so there's your connection, I suspect! I'd guess Mr Entwistle has obtained the rights to the Revelation name & logo etc, and is behind this brand. If I remember right, he was also responsible for the fairy interesting-looking Alden brand from a few years back. I do like that LP Recording copy. Shortscale GAS alert! Jon.
That would definitely explain it! Thanks Jon (I've a fretless Hohner neck as part of my bitsa fretless P, which is why I noticed it.)
8. I like the semi-pointed sculpt on the headstocks. Very Hohner-ish.
9. Welcome
10.

That's a fake, and you're not allowed to post it here. Otherwise there will be legal shenanigans.
11. Having a P-pup at the bridge is definitely a good option. It works well on its own (Vox Standard) and gives extra attack when used with a P-pup in the normal position. Hmmm. Now I'm wondering what it would sound like with a P pup at the bridge, and a J at the neck. :wanders off to look for a castle near discreet:
12. Hmm. Anyone tried flattened-5th tuning? That would give open octaves...
13. blue-grey marble
14. Flats and rounds?
15. Too many strings for me to be happy with it, sadly. (Also, no money... )
16. Ooooh... and I'm skint. (Probably just as well...) Good luck with the sale
17. Sold subject to the usual. Edit: Buyer appears to have lost interest.
18.
Pm'd
Replied.
19. Bump for pics and price drop.
20.
I'ld have it myself if I had the $$
This
21.
Fret dress, new nut and jack socket. https://imageshack.com/a/fTmz/1 (Edit: And new strings!)
Cool. If it was me I'd change the knobs for something darker, but to each etc. These are fine basses, you won't be sorry you bought it
22. This thread has definitely jumped the moon.
