    Well, four years ago I'd probably have bought it...  Nowadays I'm trying to reduce my bass complement.  Without success, I might add...

    Probably less of an issue with a small laminate bass.   But why risk it.

     

    Exactly  It's certainly what I'd do with a cello, which is a smaller instrument altogether.
