1. Play an upright? Maybe not possible, but it seemed worth a post
2. Is there any way of not sitting down for the gig? Nowhere where you can stand without looking out of place?
3. Simon's a good guy, and his luthier skills are not to be sneezed at - deal with confidence.
4. Jon and I traded fretlesses, his Yamaha for my Squier. All as advertised, good communication, patient with my delays. The Yam came in astounding packing, easily the best cardboard I've ever seen around a bass. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks Jon PS: he also sent back the stuff I'd sent him by mistake, and didn't even charge postage for it. A gentleman.
5. If this wasn't sunburst I'd nab it.... John's a nice guy and absolutely honest. Deal with confidence
6.
That is crazy money. I had the fretless version, it had the nearest to a double bass tone from an electric I've heard, also had a great electric tone, light as a feather too......yet another bass I wish I'd kept.
Indeed! I'm not selling, sorry John
7. That's quite awful. Name and shame, please...
8.
I clicked on this expecting to see a SGC Nanyo 'Bass Collection'!!!! ...
Me too. Jaw-dropping!
9. I bought some headphones. No complaints at all, and I'd happily trade with him again. Thanks mate

Sold!

Sounds like a fine bass. I am not a fan of the look, though Good luck with the sale
11. "45 people are viewing this item per hour" ... .... and a Gotoh bridge. I'm surprised it hasn't gone already.
12. I sold inmate1571 my nice shiny green OLP. Good communication, all went well, no hesitation in dealing with him again. (I assume it's a him ) Good luck with the OLP Andy, it deserves a good home.
13.
That. Is. Awesome. Great to hear you're back into live music, and props to your wife, who is clearly your soulmate. Keep us posted
This
14. I'd rather have guitarists who tune than guitarists who don't... One of the reasons our New Years' gig was awful was that we'd agreed a set list, and then it got reworked on the fly. D'oh...
15. I bought Dunc's MD bass. All went well, and I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks mate
16. I bought a couple of pedals from Geoff. All went well and I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again. thanks Geoff
17. £80 no-name jazz bought from Mr Foxen. Reading this thread, I'm beginning to think it's too pricey to gig
18. It's probably worth editing the thread title to include the word "Reduced" - use the full editor. Good luck
19. I don't know the BBN5 II, but I had a BBN5 till recently and that looks only a touch high, especially with the case. If I was looking for a fiver I'd give it a punt at £150, and £170 might be fair.
20. That's definitely weird. Thanks for the gen
