1. I'd be interested to know the heel width, please. It's probably 64mm or so, but I live in hope
2. I bought a jazz-style scratchplate and pups. Nice clean efficient transaction, good comms, no issues. Thanks John
3. Could you please edit the topic so we can see it's been sold? Thanks
4. According to the annoying eBay popup, seven have been sold in the last 24 hours. Perhaps we should just wait a month or so and see if they pop up second hand? If none of them do, then either they are gorgeous or they are killing their owners... (Is that legally actionable? I do not speak for BassChat, nor is BassChat responsible for my opinions... )
5.
I've seen it happen to pubs we've played in. Pubco's put in terrible landlords over and over again after manufacturing a reason to kick out the previous landlady who had been running the pub successfully for many years. Pub is now looking like it could be closed any time now.
This.
6.
No Jewish wedding takers then ? Four hours of double/cut time, two in the bar madness. Who needs standards, when you have.... Hava Nagila, Mazel Tov, Tzena Tzena Tzena, Hora dancing.
I'd love to do that. Possibly not too often, it could get old after a year or two, but they're great tunes
7. We traded, my Retrovibe telebass prototype for his Jack. He went out of his way to deal with my travel problems, good comms, no problems whatever. I'd deal with him again without hesitating. Thanks Jeff

I bought Tony's upgraded Tanglewater. Thoroughly nice guy, thoughtful and thorough comms, went out of his way to accommodate my travel problems. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in dealing with him again. The Tanglewater is lovely, so he has good taste as well
9. That sounds bad - if nothing else, it's not going to do the screws any good. I've never heard of it before. Is it just on one bass?
10.
When I was at school any instrument that used electricity was taboo. There were no rehearsal rooms, let alone the stuff you get in schools these days. ...
This. And drums as well.
11. What does it sound like? (Not after a sound sample, just a couple of words
12. Sweet
13. I bought some flats from Graeme. All very smooth and with good communications. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks
14. I had a very brief go on morgano's Warmoth when I bought his Hartke kickback, and it's really nice. If this is a matching neck, it'll be lovely
15. I'm not generally a fan of Antigua, but I do like that. I think it's the way the edge of the scratchplate echoes the edge of the body.
16. BC member tommorichards had an Epi Blackbird for sale a couple of weeks back.
17. Sounds interesting - I'm in.
18. Also interested in the answer to this... so bump.
19. Ouch. Get well soon!
20. PM incoming.
21. I'm old enough that it was classical-instruments-only if you wanted to do music at GCE or A-level. (I think back then I agreed, as well. What a ditz I was.)
22. pretty... Would an Italia Mondial Classic float your boat? Black. Cash my way.
23.
... I've been looking for a cheap unlined fretless. I'm bloody tempted to go for this: http://www.thomann.d...ser_b_stock.htm But, perhaps I should hold out for something better.
I had one of those or something very similar, bought four years ago so the model might be different? Excellent for the price; the nut needed lowering and the knobs were cheap and not very straight.
24. What's the album called, please?
