Schaller straplocks, no question. Apart from that, I've built a couple of bitsas and changed the odd bridge or two. One of the bitsas is glorious and will never leave me; the other is the one I pick up when I want to noodle. It's not a good job buildwise, so I doubt I will ever be able to flog it. I suppose I might get £200 for the two of them...

We vary. Nobody practices much, I don't like a lot of the songs, and we gig about every 15 months. But we're mostly ego-free, everyone is happy to try stuff again if it didn't work last time (or even if it was superb , nobody's down on anyone else. I like it; it's the best thing I do most weeks. But the bastards are all on holiday...

we played a local town carnival this summer. I didn't think it went well. Afterwards, I wandered over to the lads selling beer and sausages, would they sell me a beer? Yes they would, and wasn't it a great carnival? Was I having a good time? No I wasn't, I'd been crap. Pause. Oh you were playing?!

Bought a killswitch from Tom. All went well, no issues at all. Nice one.
