1. we played a local town carnival this summer. I didn't think it went well. Afterwards, I wandered over to the lads selling beer and sausages, would they sell me a beer? Yes they would, and wasn't it a great carnival? Was I having a good time? No I wasn't, I'd been crap. Pause. Oh you were playing?!
2. Bought a killswitch from Tom. All went well, no issues at all. Nice one.
3. I bought his Piranha leads. All went nicely and I'd be very happy to deal with him again. Thanks Andy
4.
'Bass Guitar. used. 'my bass' scratched in to machine head from previous owner.' Which means he actually bought this hideous monstrosity from someone else? He must have been drunk.
He might have been given it...
5. hi I'm thinking I might buy a JB-style neck from Harrier. Does anyone have anything to say about Harrier kit? thanks in advance
6. Pink basses.
7. I beg to differ... Not that an SB320 isn't a great deal at £170, but some guy down the road from me sold a T-40 last week for £80. Eighty quid. And I missed it
8. What's the neck like? I expect it's a treetrunk?
9. Times must really be hard...
10. I traded for Tom's SR300. Good deal, good comms, great packing I'd very happily deal with him again. Thanks Tom
11. I'll have the Y-lead if it's still for sale PM incoming.
12. Since Star Wars begins "Once upon a time", I'm not sure now much difference there is anyway
13. Where did the neck come from, please?
14.
Check out pleasuredome...cracking bassline on that too!
Yup (I like the whole thing, actually.)
15. I am slightly reassured by the description... the "artist" says repeatedly that it's "one of a kind". Hopefully it will stay that way.
16.
It's got to be almost unplayable. Your arms would catch on all the jagged parts. Take a look at his other items. i like this one http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c348d1173
for which the seller wants 800 euros... words fail me.
17. hup! make me an offer, trade, add to a bigger deal?
18. damn. This sets new lows for ugly. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c345ba005 I actually hope it's a home-mutilated bass (horrible though the idea is). If it's not, that would mean that this thing made it into production... ew.
19. That looks very nice indeed. Also, I tried your link, and it wants me to log in.
20. Nice I've been thinking about a fretless 5 for a little while. If this is still here in a week (which I doubt ) then no doubt the GAS will have its way...
21.
I am actually going to build one soon, so I shall report back after
If you're doing that, you may find this site useful: www.largesound.com. Have a look at the user forum, there are several people there who like tinkering with short-scale builds with plastic strings.
