  1. I really liked it but I couldn't justify keeping it The pups are really, really nice.
  2. Mmm. The end-pin retracts, I assume? (Just wondering if it has major implications for my car... though if kodiakblair could get a DB in his little Fiat...)
  3. I'm not generally a fan of the Fender look in basses, but this is an exception. That is very pretty! GLWYS!
  4. I really like those. I hope they make flats
  5. Are you interested in trades at all?
  6. Want! But Norfolk is a whole day's travel...
  7. Frazey Ford - One More Cup Of Coffee
  8. You can't have Led Zeppelin, they've already done it.
  9. Always a bit wary of stuff I don't understand, just in case it turns out to be the Horst Wessel Song or something of the sort. Having said which...
  10. A not-very-interesting update: It's more or less stable. I have a suspicion it's getting slightly worse but I can't be sure yet.
  11. Thanks. I will see about a splint.
  12. Thanks for this. I tend to play mostly with my thumb nowadays, but I'll pay attention to the angle.
  13. Freedy Johnston, 'Trouble Tree'.
  14. Thanks. It's maybe a little bit worse, but nothing major.
  15. Have you tried it with a bass? (Possibly a stupid question, I don't really understand pedals.)
  16. Sisko Electrofanatik, 'My Realm'
  17. I think it might do both, depending on how tight the winding is. And, good question!
  18. Lowering the pitch seems weird... surely you'd be shortening the effective length of the string? That ought to raise the pitch, surely? The pitch wavering makes sense, because the free-floating solder coil would move and that would change the string length. Did it change the tone of the note? I think it might make it softer, more fretless-ish?
