Okay, definitely in the wrong place. You should probably - (a) post a "what's this worth" thread in the 'Bass Guitars' forum here: [url="http://basschat.co.uk/forum/16-bass-guitars/"]http://basschat.co.u...6-bass-guitars/[/url] - that will give you some idea of the market price. - (b ) have a look and a search in the 'Basses For Sale' forum here: [url="http://basschat.co.uk/forum/19-basses-for-sale/"]http://basschat.co.u...asses-for-sale/[/url] - that will also help you to set a price. - (c ) post a For Sale thread, with pics (or a link to them on, say, Photobucket) and a good description (including the actual model - "Warwick" doesn't tell us much . If you set the price too high, then nobody will buy it. So, price high and be prepared to reduce the price till you get takers. Be aware that you MUST post a price - this is not an auction site - and that there is a £20 fee to sell anything valued above £50 (I think). (If you're really not sure what model it is, post pics and ask for help. Someone will be able to tell you.) Good luck with your sale

I think the mods do an excellent job, generally. I've no complaints (apart from the GAS...) and I'll happily stump up the £20 some time soon. Also, I think the existence of this thread is a sign of the general health of the forum.

Too weird. Why would you build that? I suppose you could use it as a lap steel, but I don't think there's much market for the bass version...

I've wondered about the use of a perspex plate to add mass to the body. Attached to back of body using cover-plate screw and an extended neck screw; should add mass invisibly and reversibly, and without altering the feel of the bass much. Obviously this would work only for flat-backed bodies. I did buy a slab of plastic (when I bought mcnach's Shine ASAT-alike) but never got round to shaping and fitting it.

hi I've acquired a Tele-style bass from Retrovibe, and (predictably) it has a touch of neck-dive. I'm wondering how the strap extension seen on Steinberger Synapse basses works, and how it's attached, and whether it would be worth trying to source one or make myself a knockoff. All advice gratefully received Thanks Mike (edit for typo.)

Mostly, we rehearse without a mic for the singer. If we can't hear her, we're too loud. I recommend it.
