1. I had a look at the S U B yesterday while I was collecting the Ubass. Neat little beast, and I had to make sure I didn't look for too long
2. I bought Bob's Kala Ubass. A good transaction. A gentleman, a fine player and very welcoming, despite the remnants of family illness - I hope you're (both) feeling better Bob! I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again. Thanks Bob
3. I'm with BassTractor on this. Personally I play mine in a sort of upright style, using a strap tied above the nut and on the lower strap button. That makes it sit almost like a cello. (Remove the other strap button.) Also, the Pahoehoe low-tension polyurethane strings are more robust and stable than the silicone Fenders.
4. Bought a stand from Mel; good comms, quick despatch, sensible packing, all happy
5.
YET AGAIN CANT UPLOAD PICS ON THIS SITE SORT IT OUT BASSCHAT
Not going to make friends or influence people. Especially when there are other ways to do it. Especially when it costs nothing to join. Just saying.
6. FWIW I approve of this thread. (It's not worth much, because I am a completely crap player. But it's worth something.)
7. Ste bought a Westfield project from me. Prompt payment, good communications; a nice smooth transaction. Cheers Ste - enjoy!
8. If you got bored, you could turn it round for a month or two
9. You need to set a price. Forum rules.

11. Second-hand Yamaha RBX200F. They are reasonably common, they cost about £100, and mine at least is lovely.
12. pics http://s1295.beta.ph...20Westfield%20P It's quite a bit paler than that (artificial light, sorry folks).

I bought a fretless jazz-style neck from Will. Very quick and efficient, with good comms and good packing. Good deal. I'd be happy to deal with him again. Thanks Will
14. hi folks - delays due to domestic issues (and knowing zip about cameras...) - pics hopefully Weds. Sorry about that. And yes, it's got a maple fretboard.
15. I'm never going to use this, and TBH I can't honestly say it works - still in the box it was in when I got it, never tried to do anything with it. So far as I can tell they don't fetch anything. So, free to a good home. You pay postage. A contribution to BC would be appreciated. PM, please.
16. Neck and scratchplate for an Epiphone Blackbird. Scratchplate is clear plastic with Tbird/cross logo. Good condition. Neck is black and has Iron Cross-style MOP inlays. Tuners and trussrod cover included. Sides and corners of heel have been sanded to narrow it (by about a millimetre each side). Heel has been redrilled to fit another body. Otherwise in excellent condition (very minor scuffs on tip of headstock). £25 plus postage. PMs, please.
