1.
Ped Can you tweak the classifieds section so that it displays more of the headline? Either smaller type or larger space etc. At the moment it cuts them off really early so you get loads of headlines like: Fender Precision Bass in Blu.......... 5 String Warwick B...........
+1 please :)Personally I'd prefer more items to the page as well.
2. hi blackadder You need to post a price if you want to sell here - forum rules, I'm afraid. Pictures will help your sale, and more details as well - how old, what condition etc.. If you can't get your pics to upload here, perhaps you could host them somewhere else and provide a link? Good luck with your sale
3. Picked up a pink Westfield P from eBay a few weeks ago. Not a good bass; badly fretted. YMMV, naturally.
4.
The donate button will be back ASAP!!
5. Okay, I've never heard of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Bass-Guitar-Original-Burns-Weill-Super-Streamline-Bass-Guitar-1959-/200849426947?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item2ec38f0a03 TBH, I'm not surprised... what a weird beast.
6.
someone in bounmouth could find out!
That would be me. Does anyone care enough?
7.
I have the 4 string and it's a nice bass - very underrated
+1. (Currently on loan to my drummer...
8. Way out of my reach, and I have no idea if this is a good price. I'd want better pics, myself. http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/wal-bass-mk-i-1981/1003242134#gallery-item-full-2
9. Tom's an honest man, and that's good enough for me. Cheers

Hi!

welcome svirac
11. hello and welcome My sister's lad has an RBX170; it's nice and plays well, but I find the body uncomfortable to play sitting down (perhaps I just have funny-shaped legs?). I did offer to buy it from him, but he was all "I'm not selling it, it's too nice to play". Whatever else people say about the youth of today, some of them do actually know when they're having fun
12. That bass looks pretty, but I'm not sure about the headstock. Still, I reckon I'd get used to it if it had cost me £88 and sounded and played nicely Welcome aboard, anyway!
13. bluejay said it better than I would have Welcome aboard! (And be prepared to find that in six months you've got rid of all your old basses... and bought at least as many!)
14. oooh... this is probably the worst place you could possibly be, if you can't stretch to another bass right now. GAS is lurking round the corner... Welcome aboard
15. Hi. I doubt you'll learn much from me, but there are lots of proper players here
16.
I suspect that you'll soon get pi**ed off with requests for duelling banjos.
Play it on a bass instead
17. (I thought I posted in this thread already. Curious.) I agree with iconic, you've got bigger balls than me (The Hohner neck off your LPB jazz is now on a Kay or Avon Rose P body, and very nice it is too - cheers
18.
+1, don't know Howard personally, had a plate made by him, all the pages of +feedback says it all really.
Likewise. Bought a scratchplate from him recently, turnround was fine, he kept me informed and I have no complaints. I hope he's OK.
19. Siouxsie and the Banshees, 'Suburban Relapse'. Before that it was John Surman, 'Whistman's Wood'.
20. ooohh... nasty I'm a bit surprised that's even repairable, n00b that I am.
21. Great thread idea, and I'm glad it works well for some of us
22. ... and not a Fender body. Hmmm.
23. The RBX200 is in better nick than mine, and cheaper too. Someone should snap that up, sharpish
24. I had fun on my own Usual practice cancelled, so I stayed home and messed about with a recent acquisition (Aria GB, which I will be selling because I don't get on with the neck - otherwise it's pretty good) and an old mate (Yamaha RBX200 fretless, which I love to bits even though I can't play fretless for toffee). I haven't enjoyed a solo practice/twiddle that much for ages.
25. Lasted 47 seconds. Can't stand the voice.
