1. I love these. A looker, very light and portable, and sounds terrific. Good luck with your sale!
2. I sold a bass to Ville, which he was unhappy about due to an error on my part. It's been a painful experience but absolutely none of that has been his fault. He has been a complete gentleman throughout and I'm grateful for his patience and courtesy.
3. ... I don't actually believe it's worth that much, somehow. (Warning: Guitar content! ) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item337953e878 !!
4. so... how do Bensons compare with, say, Sue Ryders?
5.
It was the Jazz 'Precision' that I zoomed in on and it appeared to say Vintage on the headstock. http://www.ebay.co.u...b#ht_3270wt_993
Scroll down into the body of the ad, the pic is bigger there. Pretty sure it says "Benson".
6. Did the Yamaha come via Horizontalste, by any chance? If so then the added pup and selector switch probably came off my old BB450.
7.
It's pretty much like a Hohner Jack, with a P pup. They're nice little basses, don't see why this shouldn't be?
Agree. I think this looks better than the typical layout, TBH; the lumpy Fender body doesn't look so bad, somehow.
8. Good advice on packing to ship: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/156589-couriers-packing/
9. I don't like funk, as music. I like some reggae, sometimes. Dub I like, especially when off my face around 3am Edit: I can't play any of them worth a damn
10. Pics will help your chance of a sale! Also, http://basschat.co.uk/topic/183234-rule-changes-to-marketplace-36-hour-bumping-rule-and-trade-valuations/
11. Me next please
12.
Dear me but I don't like sunburst in any guitar. Never did. Yeuch. Strangely tobacco sunburst doesn't seem quite so bad and I must be getting old, because I'm starting to like EBMM's honeyburst.
+1, word for word.
13. I bought Paul's Peavey Fury II, and I'm very happy with the transaction and the way it went. I hope he is too. Thanks Paul
14. Trade for a Vox Custom 3002? Bought by me here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/167912-sold-vox-3002-custom-bass/page__p__1565387__hl__vox%20custom__fromsearch__1#entry1565387
15. ... because I want to call it "custardburst" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BC-Rich-Bronze-Series-bass-guitar-hardly-used-Warwick-Rockbag-padded-gig-bag-/300775472851?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item46079d7ed3
16. Don Binns, Sons Of Freedom.
17. welcome aboard It's a great place. But I recommend you stay out of the Marketplace, that can get expensive
18. I bought Derek's Epiphone Tbird, and a Blackbird neck. Bass in really excellent condition, fast and easy transaction, no issues at all. He very generously threw in various relevant parts. A pleasure from start to finish.
19. That is kinky

20. Is it prone to neck dive? I've found that with the Tele/ASAT shapes.
21. I'm not a great fan of basses with scratchplates. But, OMFG... ! This is what Fenders should look like.
22. Retyping this (I hate MS Windows...): (a ) if there's any songwriter credit to be had, insist on it. That way, their treachery will be rewarded forever (b ) bunch of losers, you're better off without them.
