Weird, isn't it. They haven't worked out that it's actually putting people off looking at their ads.

8. What colour is it? Some pics will definitely improve your chance of a sale. cheers
9. Everyone knows about T-40s. But the T-45 is new to me (on account of being ignorant). Anyone know what they're like? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEAVEY-T-45-VINTAGE-USA-BASS-GUITAR-MAPLE-NECK-SUNBURST-T45-T60-30-AMERICAN-/221014210210?pt=Guitar&hash=item33757936a2
10. Bought an EBow Plus from Faiz. All went well despite my having to get my bank password reset half way through. Good communications including volunteering the tracking number. I'd be happy to trade with Faiz again. Thanks!
11. Bought a set of flatwounds from Ted. Seamless transaction, no issues, good communication. Happy to trade with him again. Thanks Ted
12. all you need do is bump your existing thread. You don't need to make a new one.
13. Looks like a relist (at £550 !): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mayones-Jabba-5-string-Bass-guitar-/150807308209?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BUA%26otn%3D10%26pmod%3D150801888113%252B150801888113%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8095283880651378198
14. It's a shame I don't like the colour. Ah well, bump for you anyway.
15. Could have been worse. Tiny stage. My playing was rubbish throughout; couldn't hear the guitars, which really doesn't help. I suspect they couldn't hear each other, either. Pretty much total absence of audience (weather-related, venue is a caravan park), so it was more of a rehearsal, and not a great one. But we did get paid Trick now is convincing them they should pay us again next month. Hmm.
16. missed it! If daz changes his mind, I'd like second dibs please
17. Link's not working for me.
18. I think you'd be better off starting separate threads for the other basses. With pictures
19. Tempting. I can't really afford it. Is this the 414 that belonged to deaver till recently, by any chance?
20. Can't afford it this month. Long shot next month. It won't be here by then, though.
21. But... remember you're auditioning them as well.
22.
This is also true... nothing improves your playing like being in a band. If you're the least able, you'll play up to everyone else's level and improve much more quickly than you would by playing against recordings.
I agree (being there, doing that
23. I think ThomBassmonkey is right. The name "Palmer" was not mentioned then, but I remember thinking "oh I've got a Palmer with a headstock like that". Two other names were mentioned, but I can't remember what they were.
iirc recently there was a thread by a guy asking the same question and his bass had the same headstock shape. I can't remember what the results were, maybe if you search you can find it
