  1. Fretted, thank goodness... Good luck with your sale!
  2. The Performer is the only Fender design I've ever liked the look of.
  3. EBay really, really needs a sensible feedback arrangement.
  4. Probably Dekos, as well.
  5. I'd have had it if it had been within range. Ah well.
  6. Brian sold me some non-music-related stuff. All went well; good communications, good packaging and prompt delivery. Recommended. Thanks Brian
  7. I bought a BBG5 from James in a rather hasty transaction - the haste due partly to my being geographically challenged . Nice guy, all as advertised. I'd happily deal with him again. Thanks James
  8. Yes, sorted.
  9. Aaargh... I knew I shouldn't have looked!
  10. Beaut. But your text is pale grey on white...
  11. Tactically I'd suggest ensuring you can regroup at one end if it all goes pear-shaped, and making sure the organisers are on board with that.
  12. IME the drummer question can be a problem. Electronic drumkit can solve it, IF the drummer is happy to have his volume dependent on other people...
  13. That's a looker I particularly like the way the short scale makes the board look super wide. Somehow that tickles me.
  14. Chap who taught me the basics had one of these. Pretty
  15. I suppose the other obvious one is Lemmy, who was a guitarist before joining Hawkwind. Seems to have liked the change I don't know Dinosaur Junior's stuff, sorry to say. Is this how Barlow plays in the studio? I'm wondering if it's a way to fill the sound out with only one guitarist.
  16. What are the strings it's currently wearing?
  17. I bought P pickups from Martyn. All went smoothly and I am a happy camper. Recommended. Thanks
  18. Hmmm. Presumably this would mean the nut didn't have to be lowered as much?
  19. I've been using 6mm black tape on the upper edge of my TRB5 fretless (for some reason Yamaha side-dotted it as though it was fretted...), but it never occurred to me to cover the whole board. Kudos!
  20. Ooofff... Damn it. I'd love it, but there is no way I can afford it. Good luck with your sale!
  21. I don't see the need for the Golf at all, really.
  22. Nope. You just face them downwards and sit on top, then play bass through them. Steering can be tricky, mind.
  23. It might be interesting to mix cobalt flatwound E string with steel flats for other strings. That would brighten the E only, and you'd still have the same tactile experience.
  24. If you're looking for a Sinsonido, let me know.
