  1. These are fab, especially if you're strapped for space.
  2. I suppose it might be handy if you wanted an entry-level EUB. But so far as I can tell its main selling point is that it's really easy to kill with fire
  3. I liked it. It did what it said on the tin, looked good, played well, decently built given the cost. Neck dive, yes, but that goes with the territory. I just wasn't using it. I'm glad it went (back) to a good home
  4. I had a BBN5 (old series). I should have kept it If that stays in that sort of price bracket, it's a steal.
  5. I've got one. It's very nice and I really like the range of tones. I don't play it much - I'm mostly fretless - but it's light and compact and versatile. I also really like the fact that it's perfectly balanced for carrying using one rail if you shove the pickup down to the bridge end
  6. Sadly, I no longer have more money than sense... this appears to be a self-correcting condition
  7. Presumably intended as an anti-theft measure...
  8. Oooh... I have a defretted one, and I'd like another. Any trades?
  9. The only other design I can recall with a movabile pickup is the Westone Rail; which does not look traditional at all... Good luck with your sale
  10. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RIF-021-Rare-First-Series-Wandre-Etrurian-Bass-Vintage/174016976624?hash=item28843856f0:g:XioAAOSwEFJdbSVc A rarity. Probably for good reason, it must dive like a centre-forward and I'm guessing its not particularly well made. But the design... Utterly bonkers. I love it
  11. Fragile and Close To The Edge, in that order. Close To The Edge is the better record, but Fragile has better songs.
  12. Fairly crude defret job, but I guess that's fixable.
  13. Some people would tell you that this is just normal pricing for R*ckenb*cker... three times what the thing is worth... I wouldn't know, never played one and never likely to.
