  1. Did this sell?
  2. :like:
  3. Haven't bought much this year; strings, and a Yamaha TRB5 ii fretless. Which I'm not comfortable with; it may have to go.
  4. Tempting, isn't it... just as well it's not an SR505. Good luck with the sale, Mr Blank
  5. And as usual, I have no dosh and arrive too late... (also I put a defret neck on my Farida J, which works well enough). Ah well...
  6. Hm... Tempting.
  7. Blimey... I hope someone actually restores that.
  8. Thanks. That leaves me somewhat puzzled, because my old SB301 had Gotoh tuners, no MIJ stamp, and an atypical serial number. Consensus here was that it was probably a pre-production Korean build, made while SGC were still trying to decide where the production should go. That's why I described it as I did.
  9. 'Tother thread is here:
  10. Not far from me. Not labelled as Made In Japan though. So it may be one of the Korean pre-production basses? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-Collection-Bass-Guitar-by-SGC-Nanyo-with-Original-Case/132882989629?hash=item1ef071823d:g:FhIAAOSwkHxcDTdf
  11. Sad day
  12. Hm. I have a bass with split outputs. I guess I could run them both into this?
  13. I do like that clean tone. I want one
  14. Is there a serial number for it?
  15. "project" is what it does. Though the seller could usefully have added "ile vomiting".
  16. If I didn't already have three... Edit: Listing has ended early, but relisted: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peavey-Foundation-bass-guitar/163396649130?hash=item260b3300aa:g:zhsAAOSwWz5b-p5C
  17. These sound good and the necks are nice. I needed five strings, otherwise I would have kept mine.
  18. I don't know, I thought the point was that the musicians got paid...
  19. Brexit.
  20. Argh! Didn't even see it till today
  21. I need the money, and the space, and I'm not playing it. I suppose I could put a fretless neck in it.
