  1. I would be interested to know how the string has been refurbished.
  2. Another Enigma: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Enigma-Through-Neck-Bass-Guitar-with-Stagg-Hard-Case-in-red-and-natural-wood/323455404707?hash=item4b4f71caa3:g:Tp8AAOSw0NlbosVG
  3. Can the neck be removed for shipping?
  4. ... when you can have three?
  5. I bet that's not going to show up on eBay any time soon... I'd be keeping it if it was mine!
  6. Those are lovely - especially the fretless!
  7. £100. I need the space.
  8. I do like the colour!
  9. Precisely. The body shape does it no favours at all.
  10. What are the used strings cut for, please?
  11. Nice! "Revelation Day" sounds like a Gillian Welch song.
  12. No idea. I ran across it, I was interested by it, wondered whether some other BCer might be.
  13. Sadly, it's not a Fender-standard body. Ah well. Maybe I should just put it back in the attic... I did notice that a Tanglewood Overwater has a 22-fret neck.
  14. I'm tempted to put it on a solidbody bass guitar, see what it sounds like...
  15. Gah... My SB301's needed a new neck for a long time. Last week I gave up, posted it here. Sold the body on Sunday. Bah, humbug.
  16. Good point. Thank you!
  17. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hutchins-Calypso-single-cut-5-string-bass-guitar/223137935870?hash=item33f40eb1fe:g:PtEAAOSwLxpblUIr Lucky for me, it's not fretless
  18. Thanks, gentlemen. Unfortunately the Kmise won't do because I am looking for something where the neck itself is 22 frets ' worth long - any overhang would have to be on top of that. I'll have a look at second-hand Ibanez.
  19. Wow. I'm stunned all over again every time I look at this. How thick will the neck be at the nut, front to back, if I may ask?
  20. Are they old strings? Maybe they have a limited lifespan?
  21. Thanks. Also the Yamaha RBX200, which is why I'm asking... it's not worth spending a lot on a £100 bass, sadly.
  22. .
  23. That's what I thought. Thanks, that's a lot cheaper than trying it
