    Sadly, it's not a Fender-standard body. Ah well. Maybe I should just put it back in the attic... I did notice that a Tanglewood Overwater has a 22-fret neck.

    Gah... My SB301's needed a new neck for a long time. Last week I gave up, posted it here. Sold the body on Sunday. Bah, humbug.

    Thanks, gentlemen. Unfortunately the Kmise won't do because I am looking for something where the neck itself is 22 frets ' worth long - any overhang would have to be on top of that. I'll have a look at second-hand Ibanez.

    Wow. I'm stunned all over again every time I look at this. How thick will the neck be at the nut, front to back, if I may ask?

    Thanks. Also the Yamaha RBX200, which is why I'm asking... it's not worth spending a lot on a £100 bass, sadly.
