  1. Part of the problem, for me at least, is that tastes change (more electronica, etc.) and the market is more crowded - not least because there's an ever-longer list of stuff to listen to. The rise of electronic systems means also that there's less point in going to see live bands, because the interaction between people just isn't there.
  2. That bridge pic... Painful to look at. (You was warned...!)

    Odd balls

I had a Retrovibe prototype for a Les Paul-style series of basses which never went into production. Moved on maybe four years ago (to DarkHeart, who didn't get on with it IIRC) - no pics, sadly.
  4. Well, it wasn't for lack of trying Thanks for posting it anyway.
  5. Another vote for the Smiths' "Girl Afraid". Been there, (not) done that.
  6. Glad to hear it arrived OK. My lad's Yamaha electric piano had a note in the instructions (I think - I wasn't involved) that it had to be kept level when it was moved...
  7. I considered the Flextool when I was GAS-ridden a couple of years ago. People seemed to think they were more trouble than they were worth, IIRC.
  8. I've a Yamaha RBX200F I bought used. It needs a new fretboard because a previous user has overdone it with the rounds. Be wary. (Also, if you have a neck which would fit, I may be in the market )
  9. Did they give you exceptionally long arms, by any chance?
  10. Five this year I think. Five to ten next year, probably. Mostly in care homes, paid little if anything.
  11. Nice colour scheme but I can't tell how well it's been done. Too many frets to make it onto my list though
  12. I'll be 57 in February. Not much rock going on here, but it's not my music.
  13. Not for me, sadly. Good luck with your sale
  14. Nice colour - that would go very nicely with a tort PG
  15. I'm after a Spectorcore fretless five, personally. I can't see affording a new one though.
  16. I tend to agree with Sean. At £700 and local collection it might go, but TBH £900 is pushing it even if seller would courier, IMO.
  17. I really like this, and the knob positioning is brilliant
  18. Obviously you're a highly suspicious person... I have to complete a single Captcha to start a thread, but that's it. Firebox 57.0.1 on Ubuntu linux, if it helps.
  19. Collection-only in Huddersfield, starting price £30; might be a bargain if you're within reach. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aria-Pro-II-ZZB-Deluxe-Guitar/122864649522?hash=item1c9b4dc532:g:QkYAAOSwywRaNSzR
