    Peavey do sell a trussrod tool, or used to - not sure if there's still a UK supplier. But if you go that route, be [u]certain[/u] to slacken the strings before you use it, because they are not robust and will "round" very quickly if you don't.

    I had one. Seemed fine to me. Sold it because I wasn't using it. (I kept my Ashbory though; but they aren't the same, you can't play a Ubass the same way.)

    I have the ruin of another O-B. It does play, and is about 35% complete. They're really not all that related to bass guitars IIUC - bass guitars were themselves a bit of a rarity when the O-B was built (1959 in London, I think). They are quite rare - nobody seems to know how many were made, but the best guess I'm aware of is maybe six or seven.

    Thanks to all who commented. I caved and tied it to my current account. That works. I don't like it, but I'm not making any significant use of it so the chance of fraud is small. Probably. Edit: I closed the account anyway.

    Not to be trusted. I bought an old PC from him; it showed up with a failing hard disk. He said he'd sort it out, and promptly went offline for some months.     Voice (especially as BV, but true generally). I'm so used to singing harmonies, I can't remember the line I'm supposed to song. Not that I can play anything well.
