1.
Stick it on the Facebook Bass Collection - SGC Nanyo group and it will probably whistle out the door in minutes. https://www.facebook...s/122332681404/
Thank you; I will do that.
2.
I had two or more of these in the 80s and don't remember any neck dive. I would have noticed, as I was careful to avoid a re-learning the lesson of my Guild B301 which was VERY neck heavy. I bought a Thunder 1 on here 3 or 4 years ago for £100, kept it a few months then re-sold it for what I paid, nice enough basses in their day and when money was tight, but it wasn't up to the standard of the Fenders I use now.
I've still got that one. I don't need it, I should flog it.
3. Ends tomorrow night. Still no bids.
4. Offers?
5. Nice - not my colours, but that's all to the good, really

Kudos to Merton, and nice score
7. Oooh. If it had been orange... Good luck with your sale
8. I have some idea of Sambrook's taste in instruments, and this has confirmed my desire for a Portamento. Thanks
9. Mikros are good but mine buzzes, don't know why. I need to sort it out and flog it.
10. Just down the road from me. Just as well I don't need one
11. I now have RSI...
12.
Did you use a standard set of strings for this as this looks like an option? I play a lot of UK folk so G and D major (plus related minors) are the main keys and I like the option of the low D. On the other hand I rarely go below there. Steve
I did, but I can't remember what they were, sorry.
13. Interesting... I'd be interested in that, if I was closer.
14. That's the one tommorichards is selling... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/292625-various-basses-dearmond-chowny-bitsa/page__fromsearch__1
15.
They pretty much are - also could be considered variants of the B2 series. B bass bridge is different, pickups vary according to the model but, essentially, they are same meat different gravy. That is what interests me!
:lightbulb: Sounds interesting. I am trying to remember who I sold my B 5 to...
16. When I played fives, I tuned a tone below E-C (so DGCFBb). I found the low D useful but low B not helpful with what we were playing.
17. When I played fives I tuned a tone down from EADGC, so DGCFBb. It gave me an open low D which was about as low as I wanted to go (low B is just too deep for most things, IMO), and some extra range above. Worth a look.
18. Now if that had been a fretless... ah well. Good luck with your sale
