It's hard to believe that photo shows the currant state of the bass.

I don't mind the headstock, but the pup surrounds are a bit naff.

I'm unable to add a bank account to my PayPal account. It just tells me that's not available at the moment. It's been like this for a week. Anyone know what might be causing this? I have renamed the bank account to match the PayPal account name. Thanks for any advice.

I think I've seen them before - that headstock design is definitely familiar. But I've no idea of a realistic price.

Depends. Can look good, can look awful. I've been tempted to fit a LH Ibby neck to an SR300, but that would be Silly

The interesting thing about that is that the frets go all the way round. That might do interesting things to LH thumb position. Also, if you took the bouts off, you could play it with a bow

When I've played P-type basses I've not been able to hear myself through the rest of the band.

I've got way too many basses and I need the space. What's the best way of storing them? Attic in hard case? :Leaving the strings on seems obvious.

I had a look at my pink Westfield PP and compared it with a Fender MIM J neck. As far as I can tell without actually trying it, the J neck looks to be a perfect drop-in to the Westfield body.

I don't know Fenders, but the Westfields I've had have been good value for the price. The J+D jazz neck I have on a bitsa is OK but the fret ends are a little sharp. (Not like my playing, that;s just tuneless )
