1. Fretted ones are available (Not selling mine, it's a keeper. Sorry.)
2. Billy Bragg and Joe Henry doing their American railway songs. Fine evening.
3. I love this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5hCxZ_vr70
4.
I reckon that's as cool as a very cool thing. Reminds me of a Klingon Warbird, but without the Cloaking Device of course.
Those are much harder to advertise.
5. That puts the seller on my "never-buy" list...
6. Nice colour
7. I'd like the Jolana better if it didn't make me want to try re-entry from low orbit. I'm too old for that sort of lark
8. Peavey do sell a trussrod tool, or used to - not sure if there's still a UK supplier. But if you go that route, be certain to slacken the strings before you use it, because they are not robust and will "round" very quickly if you don't.
9. Every time I watch Stop Making Sense (about twice a year, I'm a fan) she always looks terrified but determined.
10. Never a fan of 'burst finishes, but that's not insupportable.
11. I regret selling my old Yamaha BBN5. My first fiver, and if I still had it I might still be pllaying them.
12. I reckon a month is not too often to bump something...
13. I like that, so long as I don't have to play it.

Budget PJs

I gather the Revelations are good. A little above £150 though.
15. That's gorgeous. Short scale, IIRC?
16. He doesn't say he sent a photo of this bass to Warwick. Just "a photo"...
17. I had one. Seemed fine to me. Sold it because I wasn't using it. (I kept my Ashbory though; but they aren't the same, you can't play a Ubass the same way.)
18. GASsing for a defretted Epi... partly for perversity value, and partly because I want to know what it sounds like
19. Just as well it's not a four-string version... Very nice too. Good luck!
20. Interesting beast. I wonder if they make basses?
21. I have the ruin of another O-B. It does play, and is about 35% complete. They're really not all that related to bass guitars IIUC - bass guitars were themselves a bit of a rarity when the O-B was built (1959 in London, I think). They are quite rare - nobody seems to know how many were made, but the best guess I'm aware of is maybe six or seven.
