1. For me it would be the Clash. Don't think I'd do a good a job of it as Simmo tho! lol Making any kind of music with Strummer post Clash would of been great as well.
2.
Hey guys, I've owned my GB Shuttle 9.0 for a couple of years, but I'm looking to change it up a bit. Thinking about trading for a similarly powered lightweight amp in the same price reigon. Am I being stupid or should I just keep the amp?
I think your not alone in that a lot of us like to chop and change around a bit.. I went in the last 2 years from the shuttle 6.0, to the Streamliner 600 and now have a Th500 on the way. I have been happy with every change I've made so far. It's not set in stone that you have to stick with one amp. Enjoy.
3.
Then there's this, great version of the video too!
Not too much cheese there for me, except the mullets. I always liked that song. Not bad live as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBI5h5N-Nfo

5. Still fairly cheesy even in 2011. Great dancing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTPqn-wiiCw
6.
AG500 was discontinued a while ago
They actually still have a couple in stock in Helsinki, I'm still not sure if it's the Tone Hammer I want or the AG still! Sorry for the hi-jack, but have a bump for a great amp.
7. Not sure about my own stage presence! but I'm bored to tears after about 5 minutes if watching a band and all they do is look at the floor or their fretting hands.. Guess it also depends on what kind of music your play, either-way I like a bit of eye contact or at least interaction between the Band.
8.
Hello Highfox! Possibly... I'll get a price and let you know.
Sorry to of messed WoT around on this one. I'm looking to buy new...
9. Would you consider shipping to the EU? I was just looking at a new Tone Hammer, but this is tempting.
10. I bought a new 4003 a few months back and I'd say even DI'd it's definitely not low on bottom end and all treble! and that comes from a P-bass type guy.
11.
Mr roboto. Has to he on ther http://touch.dailymo...mr-roboto_music
Great
12. Welcome. The first track you posted was a little too highbrow for me, but loved the groove and your playing on the second track. Silky skills.
13. I always found Howard Jones Cheesy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYnK83WxJnw
14. I have to vote this as my favourite thread ever.. Now I realise why I never had much success playing music in the 80's ... or 90's... or
15.
sorry you said cheesey i love the singers theatrical entrance classic
No Ego's on that stage! lol Great thread, haven't laughed so much in ages
16. Not sure why but when I think Nick Heyward I also think Roddy Frame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4pWcVPUybE Catchy tunes, don't get me wrong.
17. My first and only Wal was the passive single pickup, think it was before the Pro's !%? but it had been modded with a select switch and what looked like an Aria Pro pickup of some sort.. I have a pic of it somewhere I think. Wonder where it went, I traded it in at the Basscenter in Wapping when I bought my Warwick.
18. Lets remind ourselves how they sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_crXC-rFG9E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3CTN5iYeb4 Made me rush out and buy my first Wal.. never managed to play like Leigh (got some of the sound).. some serious bass playing on their first album.
19.
The Streamliner is a great sounding amp and already fits the bill. My suggestion would be to go and learn to play modally. It will make a much bigger difference to your playing and the enjoyment will be greater and longer lasting than a subtle difference in amp sound.
I see your point totally and agree. The problem is one is an easy quick fix the other isn't. At my time in life now and the free time that I have, I just enjoy playing with the band (s) doing a bit of recording and the odd gig.. I struggle with lessons and being taught even tho I'm sure the rewards would be great.
20. Been using my Genz Benz 600 Streamliner for a little over a year now and just fancy a bit of a change (you know how it is) I like the GB gear but really fancy a bit of a change.. I've had the Shuttle 6.0 and liked that and was also tempted (and still am) by the Shuttle 6.2 when it came out. I guess a hybrid of the Shuttle and Streamliner would be ideal. The Aguilar TH 500 is getting my attention atm, I'm looking for a slightly old school sound with a nice round and tight punchy middle with clear highs and nice lows (not after too much then lol) Has to be something micro that can drive a 600w 2x12.. Not worried about on-board compressors, tuners etc. Any tips which way I should be looking. Budget is around £600 I can't try before I buy, there is nothing doing locally.
21.
Here in Finland is one for sale for the price 8000€.
Think that's the same one I saw.
22. How much would you estimate an all original 1959 Fender P in 3 tone sunburst might be worth? Condition is a 9/10. I'm not selling.. just looking! (make that window shopping)
