T-dawg would probably be up for this. Never been to anything like it before. Also +1 for can't slap lol

Most of you know what this is. Tidy condition, practiced alot but not gigged, although it's a great pedal its not what I was looking for and hasn't really got the use it deserves. I'm kinda more putting the feelers out at the moment but I am ready to sell it as if it doesn't work in my band it's off little use to me really. For sale i'm looking at £370, which after looking around seems like a fair price although I am open to sensible offers. For trade i'm looking to go down the oct/fuzz/filter route so any combinations of those pedals plus I am looking for a blending type pedal as I want to run 3 different effects chains so anything suitable would be considered. just played my first show with my spector 5 string, lovely although only arrived friday so pretty much played it like a 4 lol. still a quality instrument. Show was good although entire gig was ruined for me by "hardcore dancing" f***ing rubbish lol

Just completed a trade with Ville, have never traded before let alone internationally so you can imagine a little bit of trepidation. Great guy, very very helpful, great transaction, absolutely zero issues, all round great guy. Great bass and delivered very promptly to allow me as little time bassless as possible. Without gushing I can't say enough good things about the guy. Highly recommended and would deal again with him in a second.

Both good condition with box no power supply. EH Bass Muff £40 posted - good solid pedal but I now have a russian monster. It's been brought to my attention that this doesn't work with batteries, but works fine with any suitable power supply Boss SYB-5 £80 posted - Again good solid pedal but have just upgraded so needs to go cheers

SOLD PENDING musicman stingray 4 string

Decided to get rid to fund a 5 string. Would prefer a trade but we shall see. 4 string stingray, 3 band eq, piezo bridge pick-up, rosewood fingerboard. Well gigged but well looked after, regular services. The case is battered and cracked but I guess this is why the bass isn't. Afew minor chips but nothing major. I paid 1280.00 for it new, putting it up for 950, shipping can be discussed. As for trades looking for a 5 string of comparable quality. No musicmans though thanks Open to discussion on both price and trades. okay, maybe I need to open this up a little then, I'm kinda tired of the musicman sound, i want something deeper and smoother. Something a little more rounded. I've been tempted by 5 strings for a while so thats a given. Maybe it's not the active i'm bothered about and just the sound of the bass overall. I am abit of a n00b in the sense i did buy the musicman because 2/3 of my fav bands bass players used em but as I develop my own sound I don't think its doing what I want. I;ve looked at lots of 5-strings but i'm not too sure on which will be best. Even though I play metal i'm looking for something suitable for dub and trip-hop more than growly rocky kinda sounds. any suggestions?

I'm thinking about putting my bass up for trade - musicman stingray 4 string, 3 band eq, piezo bridge - got a couple of slight chips but aside from that its banging. I'm gonna be looking for a passive 5 string but I don't really know what I should be expecting in terms of value and what comprable 5 strings I should be looking for in exchange of a roughly similar value (i'm prepared to take a slight drop). Any advice please? thanks
When I say most I really only mean a couple (not giiged my amp that much!). I asked an engineer at the Masque (former Barfly) in Liverpool why he didn't use the DI output and pointed at the Ashdown sign and said "because of that" Apparently he has had bad experiences in the past (maybe its just him?)
Most (NOT ALL) live sound engineers are, in my humble opinion/experience: 1. rude 2. stuck in their ways 3. miserable 4. rubbish I have met some great engineers who have taught me alot even in the space of one soundcheck. but it's probably 70/30 in favour of douches. As for DI's I tend on grate on most engineers by requesting to mic up my 1x15 live. While I can understand how much easier it is for sound guys to deal with DI signal I can't help but feel they are paid to be there and thus should really do what I want (without me or them being a prick about it). My sound is setup in the rehearsal room and the sound I like is the sound that comes out of the cabs so thats what I want coming out of the PA. Perhaps i've taken this a little off topic (apologies) but thats my 2 cents p.s. My ashdown DI was pretty good, never had any complaints Terry
Yay! A topic I can talk about! (I've been lurking for ages). Not strictly doom, but definitely trancendental - I've been playing the new Zoroaster album a lot recently - it sounds a lot like this:
slamming good, nice shout
