i think it depends what you are doing, gigging now and then in your car then a padded case is good enough but for anything more than that get it flight cased, you cant expect it to get thrown around in the back of a van and not get damaged i use swanflight they are awesome

i played in a lot of ''secular'' bands before i started going to a church and i can safely say i have never been as streched forced to improve as a musician than when i started playing worship music!
